^To everyone this is about discussing STR Mercs and how nerfing them is useless or how they can be nerfed not about remove passives no way that would destroy everyone! If you removes Mercs hybrid we cant boost or lower anyones or ourselves defence or resistence we become MASSIVELY UPed. And Mages pfft they without their deadly aim and reuote they wont even exist anymore. Also guys please stop the flaming I dont wanna see my thread get locked because of some trolling user. Thanks

The root of it is the primary weapon. nerf that would make lot of people mad htouhg

^ That would nerf everyone how about we um give Beseker a 1 turn warm up? And one turn cool down? I dont wanna anymore requirements because ugh they force everyone to use focus builds and get rid of all creativity.

^ If your trying to get rid of STR merc's, your doing the complete opposite of what your trying to get at. STR merc's would have to go to focus builds and get rid of creativity.

Also, if you said nerfing STR merc's is useless, then why suggest things to do?

how about if we take out hybrid take out smoke screen and malfunction! Guys it silly both bh and mage have way to buff their defence and resistance twice or even 3 times higher then hybrid armor.. Do we have a way to nerf defences? No. We have intimidate which is only useful because its slightly more useful then a standard strike in the end of the match or against our own str mercs...

Really mages counter hunters and vice versa. both then have to adapt to deal with a completely different class in merc.
if their was a more energy based class that countered mercs [and again vice versa] I think 2v2 could be alot different.

as for 1v1, str mercs and str bhs are gonna win alot until something is done. im kinda hoping they just buff str mages
and they start pwning the other str builds back in equal measure.

I propose these changes which would make the game more balanced
Proposed changes
Lower Emp to increasing every 5
Get rid of the support requirement for tech mages Deadly aim (mages needed variety!)
Lowering the amount that atom smash takes but making it unblockable
stats start decreasing at 60 or 70 instead of 50 because no one just stops at 50 stat points.
take out the 20% resitance ignore from surgical strike
Buff the supercharge ability
take out the the bloodlust requiement
Slightly buff mercs hybrid armor to compete
against the buffs of bounty hunter and mage
(ends at 15) Make it have a slight dex requirement such as the max level needs 30 or 40 dex.

Epicduel is getting more scary

EVERY CLASS has been nerfed...they found a way to survive....
Its time to make a NEW type of build for merc

i beat mercs all the time even with their hybrid. the fact that u cant beat them doesn't mean anyone else cant, everyone looses and someone has to be beaten them for them to get losses.
if ur not one of those that isn't bating them, then thats ur fault.
like i said get a better build.


but i believe that i own mercenaries especially str ones my build had a range of 92 -- 96 % be4 the last update :)

+10 is too little of a boost.

Especially seeing as it costs a turn to switch between defense and resistance (but even then, I'd think a wise merc would have more base resistance than defense anyway for that Bunker Buster and lazors).

thank you for that part, most of the people who complain never put themselves in a str merc's shoes and see how much we loose.
i put myself in the shoes of a 125 hp, 84 dex, and 88 str smoke mass BH and i got 93% winrate, out of like 20 str mercs, only 2 beat me.
and keep in mind that im not a founder and and i didn't have an energy gun so i lacked the energy damage setting me back about a % or 2.
and as usual the caster mages that EASILY beat the str mercs with malf and plasma bolt stood no chance against the smoke mass build.
while against a str merc it kills them in 2-3 turns.

no the person i said it to deleted his post, making it look as if i double posted.
but if u beat them easily and have a 92-96% why complain?
or better yet if u beat them back then when they were stronger then u should be able to do it now.
if u have a build that does 92%+ im sure u can make something to beat them now.
