Ok as you may know because of my ranting people are viewing founders as greedy players.

I'm sorry to cause this much ruckus. Originally I was only pointing out that ED isn't giving enough to the old players specially to elites and then founders and was just asking for something unique.

This only made people view us as ungrateful. People started posting about founders is ugly and stride off to the main point of the discussion.

Some posted that players who have "year of the dragon" must also get something and so on, and so fort.



I'm putting the lid down on this and say that we founders (even thou we deserve it) would gladly accept anything the dev's would give us because its really pointless to ask anymore.

And behalf of some founders and elites who supported the idea. We are sorry for causing so much ruckus.

Its great to see one of you ranters come out and finally admit this, I respect you for that.

If only the others could see that founder was just a benefit for upgrading at a certain time, It was never promised to be the best, It was never promised buffs it was a reward for helping the developers at that particular point in time. They never HAD to give it to you, it was their choice to give you it completely free with the upgrade.

No, it is not because of you, RKC.

It is, because Founders ask for Armor buff, saying that they deserve it, wanting to have the best armor forever for only paying 1 (once, one time only, you name it) whereas others did buy a lvl 25, a lvl 28 and one or two limited/seasonal rare armor, and so on. And even now, that Founders get one additional free thing, for only paying 1 (once, one time only), some say "that is not enough/not what i expected/not what i want" and so on.
I did play DF, MQ and AQW on a free basis, so i don't know how it was or is in these games, but regarding ED: Founders had their time, it is over, like it should be, just like Bunny's.
If Founders are continouusly rewarded... what about Elites? What about Betas? What about Gammas? What about those who purchased several large Varium packs later than founders, because all the good payment methods were released too late? What about....... ?

It is because of Founders, not a specific Founder, but the... uhm... majority, who posts in the forums.

Yeah. I'm just happy the ED team are listening & the 1,00 Varium is a bonus I'm happy with.
Now people are really trying to suck stuff out of Dev's with that Year of the Dragon achievement, lol.

Yeah, it is pointless to keep asking for things. Something to show that the Dev's appericate the constant support from the Founders & still today supporting something in return for this is nice, even if we never got 'promised it.'

I really hate it when people say we only payed 1 time for founder. Yes we did, but we STILL keep on paying. Really you guys go on we payed once & want everything free from that 1 time payment. We've payed alot more than people understand & founders will keep on paying for this game.


Offtopic: Like me I have to go work now, earn my own money to pay for this game. Ciao <3 (well in 10 minutes)

I agree that all these arguements have to end.. i used to look forward to comming onto the forum and posting on all the discussions people are having, but the majority of posts i see now are about a few discussions that keep being posted again and again.. and again

Ive put my oppinion on all of these posts but seeing as i just get flamed for it.. im tired of debating Founders and Founder armor

What will happen, will happen.. so im just gonna let Titan and NW do there thing and see what comes next

If they want to buff Founder.. kool, ide love them too

If they dont, thats kool too.. just not AS kool as the first =)

But yeh.. im looking forward to the newest updates and hopefully we wont have to see more threads about the same topics that have been discussed a million times over

This is a devils circle. You hate when people say this. The people hate it if Founders say that. This can go on and on and on.
As it was prooved just recently: Founders where never promised anything. The topic title was picked geniusly "this has to end", not only the Founder buffs, but also the argueing between Founders and non-Founders.
Well, we could at least pretend to try, couldn't we

Read the rest of that post to understand what I said.
I know we payed once for founder, we still pay for this game.
People go on we payed 1 time & always asked for free stuff, doesn't happen.

Edit:
With saying "founders only paid once" is not meant:
They only paid for 1 item and were overpowered gods of gameplay, without a need of ever paying again.
With saying "founders only paid once" is meant:
Founders paid once for an item, that lasted them more than a year. Maybe they bought more varium for more items. But, on the other hand, non-Founders had to buy a lvl 25 armor AND a lvl 28 or limited armor, at least, just to stay on the same power lvl as founders, plus varium for more items. If you couple Founders Armor to Frost Bane or Bunny Chompers, maybe backed up by Bunny Zookas, all of which are somewhat as old as Founders Armor...
Founders are just used to being "very good" compared to others. But being used to something does not mean, one deserve to have it forever.

I understand the rest of your post.
It's just, it is very easy to stumble over this specific part of your post.

Hopefully i could point out my thoughts better now.

What I'm also trying to say is that I give up asking for something we deserve, because people are just gonna get in your way even if you really deserve it.

I'm not a founder myself, but I do know that founders/elites deserve whatever they're getting, present and future. Whether you think of the "paid once" or not, they paid for an unstable game that had a large chance of disappearing. Anyone now pays for ansecure game that has no chance of your money disappearing. 1000 free varium is pretty good, but if armor stats are going to keep raising, founder needs to be buffed.

people should really define ' Deserve '

Founders recieved an armor that was the strongest for a whole year
yet that still isn't enough...

there is a thin line between Deserving something and being Greedy

Now, shall we stop this Founder fetish? You got what you were promised, now move along and buy new armors, just like the rest of us has to do.

i dont say we deserve more but like dill said it was a unstable game and we could lose our money at anytime whereas now the game has alot of players and makes more money so it is stable.
i actually didnt think we would get anything but when i saw the post on tiwtter i was overjoyed but in the end it was a little bit of a let down but as i said i never thought we would get anything but im happy with what i get

ED is very stable right now. The only thing keeping us from getting our founders reward is all these non-varium and non-founder players who keep getting in our way.

which you have allready gotten ( Founder armor that was the best for over a year, Achievement and now 1000 varium which I agree is low and for me it can be raised to 2500 varium )

And the Devs DO want to give us more stuff! But Founders are not the only ones playing so, it can't happen.

i cant believe how hateful the community is to founders( not the devs, everyone else) we should be appreciated for playing as long as we have. we have been here longer then anyone (besides elites) we know this game in and out, we spend countless hours fighting matches and fighting to make the game better. in any AE game founders are rewarded every year do to our undaunting spirit to keep playing. yes some founders may have paid one time, but MOST of us have spent 100s of dollars. the community treats us like we are vermin when they should be praising us. this new generation needs to learn its place

We also got Beta set for free :3

EDIT: Of course we also got 10,000 varium when buying the Large Varium Package. So to sum it up, Founder Armor; Founder Badge; 10,000 varium from the Varium package; Beta Set for free; 1,000 Varium as a Founder Bonus. That's more than fair to me.

It's really annoying when founders say that, like your the only people who were playing back then and your the only people "who know this game in and out"...
This is just my opinion, but saying stuff like that makes non-founders hate you.

Well , Actually I'm Not a Founder But I Play Epic Duel Since The Founder Release , (Didn't Bought Variums At This Time) , So How About If The Founders Get a Buff Like +10 and Not +7 , and Without The 1k Variums , Is This Idea Better :/ ?

Not Only The "Founders and Elites" Know This Game and Fight For It , There Is Some Founders Lvl 30 , Or Just Have Like 1-2k Wins , Heros... , and We all Know This Game "In and Out" and BTW There Is Older Players Than Founders But Wasn't Members In This Game Yet.
