I have a few non var alts and i can see the difference it makes when you know what you doing but more importantly, if you win almost all your battles ( merc alt npc at beginning till reasonable lv to achieve this ) you'll have enough credits to get all the gear you need which by the time i went player vs. player, i was able to easily beat any non var i came across. I think the key issue lies that when you lose or win, you just don't get enough credits to get what you need, and if you new to the game, you're likely to go and spend all your money on any random gear (BAD idea!!!) on each level and be in trouble come later levels cause you be eventually going up one level (worst case two levels if you lose alot) while saving up for any one weapon. If the issue is cause of credits, then i believe it makes more sense to increase how much is given based on what level you are at the time than to make it so ppl get no exp. Getting no exp won't help since each loss only gives them 7 credits... imagine losing getting no exp and 7 credits all the time and you trying to get a weapon that cost over 5000? It wouldn't be a enjoyable experience. This just my honest opinion though on the matter.
