Why people keep saying a class is overpowered is for the simple reason it's not the skills of the class but the quality and quantity of gear around for certain builds if mor gear was around at any given time no class would be OP look at my gear I have been every class but have never good class specific gear to play the class to it's full potential all I have is swords

So what I'm saying Is that no class is OP it's just the availability of the gear around that makes certain builds stronger than others

I don't want any slamming saying this class is OP this ones UPed.

This thread is just saying the availability of specific gear is required to make a certain build better than others

 It's true that mercenary has better weapons then bh for tank builds.

Most of the guns in-game including variums got stats in strenght for mages and that useless , they will be better on defesenvie stats or support but not in strenght. Lame D: and yea the skill tree of mercs and bh is perfect, but mages' one nah is a waste of time.

A class can't be Op'd, only it's skills can be .

@He Who Lurks But the skills are what makes the class. Therefore a lot of Oped skills makes a OPed class.

The only critical factors in battle are luck and the players skill. Oh, who am I kidding, it's just luck.
You can have the best build ever, but without confidence/luck you're not going anywhere.

If you want to get serious, the most OP'd class in this game is the BH class. They have the ability to get full health and they can heal-loop with their reflex boost and obtain full energy. Of course, realistically thinking.

then what you are saying is that.... if 2 players with only beta items, fully enchanted and with different classes...were to fight... it would be a tie?

you aren't taking into account the level of skill the player has crits blocks deflections

I am, i just didn't mentioned... I just don't believe it is ALL about the gear... perhaps a huge part.. but NOT ALL. I understand you... but i really don't think most lose just because of their gear... i fought many and won against many in a row... who had better gear. And it wasn't the case of "luck".

What determines who wins a battle:


Luck (we have all lost and won battles due to this)

Weapons (lets face it, as long as you have the newest weapons out then you have best weapons in game)

How well your skills and abilities work together(not if you have "better skills" or "better abilities")

Some builds do better against other builds, which can give you the feeling of fighting an OPed build or class.

I'm not sure how much people here actually play as low level can level it up from 1 to max (or at least lv 29) with all 3 classes: Mer, Mage, BH

I have to say, not only the statement "no class is OP" is wrong, but also the quality of good items in game is SO WRONG

Seriously, if you play as Mer, you only have to buy 4 weapon throughout the whole game, 3 guns and 2 aux. You save money far more than any other classes in game. Plus Mer is freaking OP in any level, especially mid level.
Meanwhile, Mage's gear suck so much, too much, Horrible! Most of them use Tech and with stupid damage and messy requirement.
BH has good items at the start of the game BUT you have to switch a lot to catch up to other classes so you will be out of money soon and later level you can't buy stuff. At Mid high level, BH has no good items! Seriously.

Mer is OP, cheaper, faster, more effective
About BH being OP now just because the stat is not well build, BH abuse stat way too effective with their skill set
