so many factors to take into account, but at the end of the day, if something is causing the game to hang it doesn't matter what browser you use. but don't forget, ingame slowdown is caused by your systems capabilities and the limitations of browsers. you can have an amazing system but once you hit the browsers limitations thats it. the issue which most of us experiencing though is communication between the server and the players who are all over the world on varying quality connections. @Fay beeee: I dont wanna be funny or anything, but I've seen your theories on particular skills and locations lagging you but your always very vague and inconclusive. lets say the lag comes in spikes every 3 minutes. theirs a good chance at the time it spikes your going to be doing the same things, especially if you consider how many minutes you actually play for and its just coincidence. if your confident theirs a place or skill causing it, you really need to run thorough tests :) this is exactly the same as when I played world of warcraft on private servers. with the periodic spikes that hang everyones game. a lot of the time it was down to hackers, but sometimes it was just a bit of code that lagged like hell when it is used. ofc it could be down to the players PC/Laptop being full of adware, viruses, or just seriously in need of a full format. with all the software you install and all the other junk that builds up, sometimes the best thing is to just back up your data and start over. Formatting my pc is the best maintenance fix, always worth it, yet most people have NEVER formatted theirs.
