Well this all started when i asked if i would be a F2P if i got Varium to change my style up a little bit but then it turned into a Discussion which Ashari locked but left me with this idea.

So how do you define if a Player is Varium or F2P; looks, gear, enhancements, some other thing.

be civil guys and lets not call people out for their opinions becuase you are entitled to your own so they must be entitled to their own.

I'd define the player as:
  • Varium Weapons
  • Enhancments bought by Varium
  • Promos

If you only use it for a helm, faction & war kills I'd count as a F2P.

As long as you don't use it to take an advantage over your opponent, you are F2P.

    I consider someone varium when:
-They use varium equipment (primary, sidearm, auxiliary, armor)
-They class change or buy enhancements with varium
-Buy anything inaccessible to any F2P player that gives them an advantage in battle
Basically the same as 1234speedy and nico0las.

    @frosty
That doesn't count either IMO, as it gives no battle advantage.

That's one thing I still don't understand about this community. It's as if it's taboo to buy varium. I'm aware the player base is almost entirely children, but even kids can understand that without varium this game would not exist...right?

If anything varium should be celebrated, as it is the lifeline that supports EpicDuel. Am I missing something?

@motorbreath Some players make alts and stick to non varium to see how good they are. Others started out non-varium and made a great name for themselves and decide to stick non varium as inspiration for the other non variums.

    IMO:

Non varium: Non varium or dont use varium for the advantage.
Half Varium: Uses varium but for only 1-2 weapons and no enhancements
Full Varium: All items varium fully enhanced

    Constructive!

I classify players as a varium player when the varium is used to get an advantage in battle.

Bikes, houses, hairstyles, warkills, etc. don't fit my criteria of a varium player. It all deals with the battle aspect of the game.

Buying enhancements with varium or an assault bot, regardless if they're attainable by a credit player, gives you an advantage in PvP, thus you are a varium player in my eyes.

    my classification...
non-varium: someone who has no varium items
half-varium (like me :P): someone who has only two varium items (equiped) with only a few enhancements
full-varium: someone who has everything equiped varium and half to fully enhanced gear

assault bots and bikes i wouldnt classify as varium
