I follow the "If it's in the game, use it" rule. I am also the last person to ever consider fair play. I'll use any means necessary. Having said this, I find boosting to be not only a sign of weakness, but also and lack of skill when building. There are some builds, however, that use a heal. Tech mages are like that. Although they don't boost often, they heal 47-50 regardless. Even so, they don't boost. I understand there are points in time in which "luck", or whatever you want to call it comes into play. I hate that too. That is, besides juggernaut or 2v2, the only JUST reason to boost. Seeing as we're talking about 1v1 here, I'll just say as I stated earlier: If your build is unable to keep you alive during a 1v1, it's time to rebuild. If you're a weak non varium, then that's a good reason to boost. If you are a full varium, 34, there is NO GOOD REASON (excluding 2v2 and juggernaut) why you should boost in a battle. Again. If you choose to boost, that's fine. I'm simply pointing out that you should have the skill, especially as a varium, to stay alive in battle. @Below I see what you mean. However, I still stand by what I say. Mind you, I do boost as well, simply not in a 1v1. I honestly couldn't give a care in the world on whether someone actually boosts or not. For me, a Strength based player, I can still deal the damage, regardless of the opponent's health. What frustrates me is actually the "Heal, boost, boost, rage, heal" method some use. But that's not important. I feel that one's build should be able to keep him/her alive through thick and thin. I'm not saying if you boost, you're not good. I'm simply saying your build should be able to keep you alive without boosters.
