As you all know Juloffenblotten is like Christmas, a winter celebration and I thought that shouldn't we somewhat follow the tradition of gifts? The point I'm trying to get across here is that just like how the other AE games have Christmas giftboxes and presents for their players in which they can purchase ingame and then opens up on Christmas Day (or was it New Years day, correct me if I'm mistaken). Do you think ED should also do something similar? I mean we're in the Holiday season right? So why not get into the Holidays spirit as well? I'll like to hear what everyone else think about this :)

they could each cost 2k, there could be 4 non var ones, and 4 that costs 50 var each. each would drop an item/achievment/monetary gift.

It's simple. Give everyone 10,000 varium FREEEEEEE Give every ED player 100 varium and 10,000 credits.

I support, from credit to varium gifts (random chance comparable to arcade), to achievements and equipment, all for a low varium cost.

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, I WANT TO BE ABLE TO SEND GIFTS TO OTHER PLAYERS!

THEY MUST HAVE THE SENDER'S NAME ON THE BOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes remorse the senable gift would be briliant but i have somethin better for the vole game (i think).Ik maybe this topic will be locked but at suggestion i couldnt search for this sugg to post it.What about if we could sell items or just trade items fir items ...ust for the same price items.Example this Mode could help new players to learn and save credits variums as well.Like a lvl 27 shud want a 31 lvl wep and I shud dont need it anyway i shud sell him for -30% of the original price(warning:this thing wouldnt wor for varium too...this thing for vars should ruin all the balance and the wole game :S) so we could sell items maximum to +30%(that means u sell ur original wep for more 30%) or minimum to -30%(that means u sell ur original wep for just 70% of the wep cost)So we could sell for newbies little more than the original price.That would help em to play better much times too. .And for the Christmas event we could be happy gifting newbie players by selling our weps for only 70% dont we? Cuz the Christmas event nots for the gifts what u get ,and for the gifts what u give to.;)

 You have a very intriguing thought. Maybe we should offer up a 1250 Varium "Set" of Perma-Rare items that have unique abilities, and will not be eclipsed by an identical ability until next May-June.

Example:

First day of XMas: Reindeer Ride -- a Reindeer bike.
Second Day: Better watch out! Santa as you personal bot, whacking the opponent removing all Block Chance/Crit Chance.

Et Cetera.

i agree with frostlich give everyone 100 varium and 10,000 credits for all levels. 100 varium to change faces and the 10k credits just for a gift

This seems a wonderful idea. Perhaps everyone could get a gift from a random assortment of somewhat equal value... then perhaps we could put credits(so non-varium players can participate in the spirit of the holidays) toward players in these few weeks before say new years(or christmas), to get them to the next level of gift? And maybe you get a gift from previous levels as well? But the standard gift should be useful in itself. And we should have till atleast Jan 10 to claim them.(So as not to impose on peoples family time)

I Hate To Be The Grinch, But Does Anyone Seriously Think They Would Give Credits And/Or Varium?!?

What They Will Do And Should Do Is Just Like Halloween.

Have A Cool New Cheevo With A Very Low Rating (Like Candy Pin)...

Maybe Offer Some New And Easy Missions To Earn Some Battle Tokens, Small Amounts Of Credits, Maybe Even A Nice Lower Level Item Worth A Few Varium On Sell Back.

That's Reasonable And "Nice".

That Way It's Good For The Low Level Nooblets And Mid Level Noobs Too, As Well As Players Who May Only Check In On Occassion Such As Holiday Events And Such.

varium: maybe a tiny ammount like 20. Credits: of course, they hand out credits all the time.

I've played that arcade 200+ wins..... gotten 100 credits total.

 Bit like AQW christmas(or maybe its AQW's B-day i havent played AQW in long time so i dont remember) where you get a present and have to keep it for awhile and then it opens to something. Supported

I requested this feature already in the feature request board.

It would be very nice that a faction founder can send some gifts to the team members.

Yes I agree, make it easier then it already is for the Founder of a faction to pay her players to get wins. That makes perfectly good sense.
