Actually I've noticed lately that most of missions is actually Easy-to-do but the stories are funny and adventurist. ( i wanna thank Cinderella and other Mods for the great Missions and hard work for them). But the missions are Quite so much Easy... Let's take an example Today's Missions ... I almost completed them all in 1 hour after update and max level requirements is Lv 20 i guess or 15.
So i hope you create more challenging missions to High-level players plus that wont be bad for Low-level players. It will be just another motivation to make them lvl up. I'll give you an Example of a Challenging Mission. And take days so High-level players found something to have fun with during the time between update and other. And feel like He/She's living through the story-line.
Thanks and Sorry for any inconvenience.
Tell me your opinion about this and feel free please - you know the rules lol...

yup, the missions were easy , but the reward's were lame , cmon , CREDITS !! i mean hardly usefull for the lvl 34's !!

so easy mission and easy credits !!

over all balanced !!

* i was hoping for free weapons or drops frm the missions , but as always , ED being " stingy"!!

Yes there were easy, but they may not be for a level 25, as many missions had as a requirement. I would like to see som harder missions in the nearest "events". Maybe make them available for level 30+? Maybe even some really nasty missions for level 34 only :)

Well, the ED team released over 70 Missions so i think they are know more knowledge about missions and they need to take it to the Next Level... Not just about requirement but objectives and also rewards...
And i don't think someone is not agreed with that?

Always a Princess

I'm still getting used to missions requirements- making large requirements leads to me getting flamed and accused of "requiring dummying" (see: the Snork mission) and I don't have engine support for random battles counting toward missions. From what I gathered from AQW players, players don't like missions that take over an hour to complete, which missions like "kill 20 yetis" would. I'm excited to add more mission types, but I'll give you guys more of a challenge in the future.

@Cinderella: In AQW, you have to finish the mission or progress is lost. In ED, you can do it over multiple logins.

I somewhat dislike AQW players though. I'm sure Artix's ads in AQWDN led a bunch of ruffians to ED.

Before...well...seriously...when you get flamed about 30 times in an hour...something changed

And Cindy, can you ask NW to implement a no-chat feature? I don't chat in battle and I don't care about what my insulting, 8-year-old enemy has to say.

@cindy, actually, i'd loooooooove a mission that takes me all week, not all missions should be like that, but one of em every once in a while would be ... epic :D

Just as Wraith mentioned, on AQW you have to complete the quests before logging out. On ED you dont. (Since it "saves", so to speak).

I would like to atleast have the opperunity to get a real challenge. How about being able to have 2 modes on each(or some) missions. Like on DF, Normal or Extreme I think it is that you can choose between.

Lets say that in "normal" you get a achievement for completing the mission. But in extreme you also got another reward. Maybe 200 tokens? Or 1500 credits... etc.
Might be hard to implant, but its a idea to not getting flammed by those who want easier missions aswell. Everyone gets happy :)

^ I like that concept,

What if their was like mission boasting,
Where players can accept missions and add boasts similar to Fable.

For an example, A chalenge 10 players mission and win may seem easy.
But what if you boasted to do it with no armour?
Or perhaps no sidearm and aux?

Or perhaps without healing?
This one would work well for boss missions

If possible their could be certain extra achievment for example maybe for the really hard boasts. But usally it would just give extra credits and tockens etc.

The mission system would have to be changed to allow redoing of missions for each individual boast. But after you have passed each bost the mission can not be redone nor can the boasts more then once.
A reward sytem would need to be inplace aswell so that is you pass a mission normally then redo it agian while boasting you only get the bonus reward from the boast so you can only get the base mission reward once and the individual boast bonus rewards once awel.

What do you guys think?

I am an AQW Player and I spend most of my time in AQW (Just started playig ED) and I'm pretty sure the record for Juggernaut Items of Nulgath is 8 hours (Non-Stop). There is also Demanding Items of Nulgath which takes even longer and I don't know if this counts but The Undead Legend is a Merge item and the items required to make it takes a lot of time to get (Probably at least 16 Hours Farming Non-Stop). I agree with the "Harder Quests" like whenever I login to AQW the New Release Quests are "Kill ________ and click on _______ then, turn in for ____Gold and ____ Exp" but what I found bad about Epicduel was that I can't complete any of the Quests. Im only level 29 so I'm considered a "Newbie" but as much as I try, I can't kill Yet Hulk so I can't finish the Quests. I think ED should really implant Level Scaling for NPCs

@liy010: Try getting a ton of level 10s to kill the Red Dragon. Good Luck.

Same thing here. If someone's Level 30 alt could pwn it, well, sorry, but not ED's fault.

@Above give all those level 10s a Necromancer Class and it's done...

@Cinderella- Well i'm agreed with the boasting of missions plus the missions shouldn't be always around battles there are a lot of other types of Missions.

@liy010- just to let you know if you don't ... ED is not like AQW.

Since this thread is trying to discuss missions, why don't merge it with Mission Feature Module?

On topic: I'm fine with missions, they were easy to be completed, but lets think that low players have the chance to complete them too, some of them not all. There should be 3 tiers of a mission lvl, 10, 20, and 30. I think that lvls would be the best to fit the tiers, since low lvls and medium players would have chance to complete those. Low lvl mission rewards should be credits/tokens, medium lvl missions should be tokens/sometimes credits/weapons, high lvl missions rewards should be tokens/high amounts of credits/achievements.
As always, the missions which gives quest item to complete other mission would be available just in low lvl missions.

@liy010: How would a level 10 get Necro?

With ACs.

Just like Varium.

If you had Varium as a level 29, you'd pwn Yeti.

/pwned

Honestly I really enjoyed the snork mission. Sure people complained about it but people complain about anything these days. It was a lot of fun and made me feel like I was working hard for something, which I was, and I still have the item in my inventory to this day because it was such a fun mission. :)

No lol, no missions like Snork's mission. You guys are happy with it because you have second accounts to dummy up the kills with.

So it's level 29? Nice.

I couldn't even finish it because it's either they accept the challenge because they know they can beat you, or they don't because they're scared.

There is a way to play EpicDuel effortlessly but it involves being smashed and out of your right mind.

Also you have to not be concerned over your wins! But that requires being smashed as well.

That's why you make an alt to dummy? Nice reasoning.

These missions were normal difficulty, not easy at all.

With the new release challenging people no longer counts towards your win ratio. So you can dummy all you want but you don't get anything out of it.
