Since it is possible to get many robots in your inventory, I believe a new era of getting varium will soon begin.

Artix Points is easier though depending on the offers given. Plus, we don't know what's the % of chance to get the assault bot or random stuff.

why cant they just make a new assault bot that only sells for credits? it can be exactly the same name and effects as the normal bot, it just only drops from battles.

They can just put a manual sellback on the Assault Bot. Plus I doubt you could get it to drop more than a coupla times.

 Rusty Assault Bot is and will be Credits-only, drop will be sold for Credits.
Sure rewards like Assault Bot which is Varium can drop from PvP but at a much lower chance and it wasn't abused while chance was a lot higher at the Arcade? How much people have you actually seen who got Bot for free there?

Makes me laugh - at one time Varium prices are too high to buy using money, now you have problem with chance for free Varium? Really..?

 First of all, as I'm sure someone has mentioned, the drop for the Assault bots is quite low.
Second the sellback price is not that great, you'd have to have a couple to actually get anything.

The drop rate will be even lower than in Arcade, and it was very, very rare at that point of time... And the sellback is 187 varium. You'd have to get almost 10 of these to be able to buy a varium item. So good luck to those who think they can farm a bunch of free varium!

What are you talking about? Non-vars are only gonna get one bot and the chances to get a assualt bot will be even lower then it was in arcade.

lol I have won 1 assault bot, I joined last march and have at least 6 characters that have spent over 1k tokens, some many many many more.

The PvP dropped Rusty Assault Bot will be sellable for credits only.

they would probably just separate the two assault bots. The one dropping from arcade would have only credit-sellback. The one you buy for varium would have original var sellback. Or they would just make assault bot credit-only, removing the option to buy it with varium completely.

 @Above: Lmfao. Good Tankers NEVER use AzBorg. We use Gamma Bot fo' lief. E/P attacks. You wouldn't stand a chance against my ultratank CH or TLM, Bot or not.

 The Drop Rate is low to begin with. You won't get the bot enough to milk the system without paying.

In case you aren't all aware, there is already a non-varium assault bot available (talk to Junker in central station).
In any case, the drops should be...interesting.

The bot gives no varium as rabblefroth (hudelf) had already mentioned. This thread could be locked now since the main topic is toasted.
