One-third of me: Varium wars again. Time for AE to cash in.
One third of me: COME AT ME LEGION I HAVE A VERY SPECIAL PUNISHMENT
One-third of me: Yay, now I can farm so I can get that bike!

Hmmm... which part to listen to?

Btw, if there are super war bombs involved, well, I just earned 2000 Artix Points (1250 Varium) with the AExtras, so, yeah...

A good way to make it less Varium-sided, as suggested by someone in the last war:

Make Varium Bombs UPGRADES, not PURCHASES.

As in making Normal Bombs be upgraded.

Ideas:

Normal Bomb: 100-110 DMG, 5% Critical Chance, 150-200 DMG

Varium Bomb: 150-200 DMG, 10% Critical Chance, 200-310 DMG

@drinde: super bombs can do upto 500+ dmg actually.

well they did say " A revamped war system" :) I am sure they will at least correct their previous mistakes.

To me the last FrostWar was fine.

What is wrong with money influencing a war ? It as done so for centuries.

If a player feels like helping the war effort or just supporting the game, he should be able to do so. If money is the way he choose, then so be it. After all, this is just a cheevo we are talking about here. Let's not be hypocrites.

Some more adults players don't have the kind of free time kids have. So instead of spending hours and hours ingame, they can contribute with money. All of this a fair.

 I hope Descral is leading the Legion forces good things happen to the Exiles when she is in charge.

Also Wiseman said at toward the tail end of the Frysteland war that Super bombs will most likely not be as powerful in the next war. Lets just hope that the power of the super bombs is scaled back so one super bomb is two normal bombs instead of four.

The fun, yes. But those with less money and more time should also be given a chance. You could play less than half the time one without upgraded bomb does, and still stand a chance to win.

 @scarlet Chance to compete in the war, yes. Chance to win a Daily Board by spending several hundreds of dollars in the last few hours of the day and completely ruining the competition efforts of non variums, no.

This isn't fair at all, I'm only 15 and I'm busy just as an adult since I got a lot of things to prepare in my house and do homeworks, I barely can get on now, in saturday I go to church most of the day, sunday is my free day but I play some battles. This week, I haven't login not more than one time and it was a 10 min login. Money shouldn't make it "fair", I have almost the same time as you but I don't got the money to spend, but you use the excuse of supporting the game which is quite annoying because you should support the game for its development, not for assuring a win on it.
I won't join this war is such excuse of money supporting leads one side to the "victory". Wars should function as AQW, no side has more advantage, the only thing they do is kill monsters and that's all, no boosters, no assistants, no advantages, just fair play, if one side has more players is their decision but sometimes one side's army will be greater than the other's but that doesn't mean they should give up.
I don't consider last war a triumph, not because I'm exile, but because it was quite unfair how players abused varium when other players just risked their health playing for hours and hours this game to get not even close to such high reward achievements.
Called me a kid, teenage, whatever but fairness is my style.

Ok. So if you had a job, you are saying you would spend your money not to give you an advantage in battle, but out of the kindness of your heart to help out the dev's? Wow, you are truly a special person. 99 percent of people however, aren't like that deathguard.

Varium can be used for activities outside of PvP and not even touch PvP, let us leave it at that.

There is nothing that get under my skin more than when someone says thats not fair.
Stop it already! Life is fair everyone who is born lives and dies, everyone need food
to eat, a place to sleep, and clothes on our back, everyone struggles because as you live
you find out life is hard. I wont go down the path that only the strong survive because that is not
a completely true statement. It is those who are willing to fight despite the odds, those who say I am in a
bad situation today but tomorrow will bring me more of the same but will be a better day, why because I have a
chance. All of us have the same 24 hours in a day, what we do with it is up to each individual. So if a person decides to pay
it is their decision as it is your decision not to pay. I know some will use the excuse I am poor, then I would say do something about it.
You can if you want too. Just for the sake of this thread either way would not bother me I would simly adapt
to the changes and see what I need to do to win. Varium is a resource to be used, but nothing beats the resource
of the human mind. Have a great day. :-)

Yet again, most of you free players seem to forget, Who pays and supports these games so the staff can continue to improve and add new things to the game? Us varium users do. Yet all most of you do is whine because it gives us an advantage. Well, when you keep the game running and growing, I feel you Deserve a slight advantage. Don't like it? Then buy some varium and quit your whining.

Well said ScarletReaper, very little in life is free. Somebody has to pay somewhere,
for those who are Christian Jesus had to die for their sins, to live free in most country
soldiers die for that freedom, and there will always be advantage and disadvantage
the sooner people comes to grips with that life becomes all to easy. Change the things I can
and accept the things I cant and the wisdom to know the difference between the two.
Do I always do that no but that is how I live my life so as the famous ScarletReaper just said
"quit your whining" and have a nice day.

you think babies and children being raped is fair? you think people having their limbs chopped off just for being born in a certain area is fair?
I accept fairness is a human concept but you are basically saying we can do anything we want to anyone we want because it is "fair".

yes ED is a game, but the people playing the game are real.

and like I said, you are living in the lap of luxury by comparison. maybe it's time you got tortured on a daily basis for some perspective.

 I missed the entire war last time so I'm really looking forward to this one. Based on what others have said here, I too hope there won't be an unfair advantage in the favor of varium players. That ALWAYS ruin events this epic.

and about varium..for all the people who whine...get a job..earn some money..i work, i have a career..i pay my bills. If you are a kid and can't get a job, ask your parents for an allowance, mow a few lawns, have a lemonade stand. lol Quit complaining. I support the development of this game.
