 Greetings and well met everyone.

I was recently appointed to this forum, but things have kept me busy so the MtAK thread had to wait. Now it is here though so let us start.

For those who do not know me, I hail from Battleon (the AQ Discussion and Suggstions forum as well) though I am known to assist with wars in Falconreach's dimension. I am a member of the Beacons of Hope clan there. The Balance Pillar. I am known to give out hugs much in the way a bear would and those stricken hugged tend to oddly break bones as a result (Hmm... must be a lack of calcium). I am mostly known for my love of warring and having fun warring only side the warmongers where I am called Warmage. I delves into tomes of arcane lore, all sorts of magics, riddles, all sorts of new and ancient lore, tell stories by the campfire all in blue robes with moonlight glow silver and tempest grey eyes from the depths of the darkness of my hood.

A few rules before the question start:

1. Remember the Universal Rules
2. Limit yourself to 10 questions per post maximum please
3. You may post as many times as you wish as long as you do not double post (Do not abuse this)
4. I may or may not answer a question if it has been asks too many times, too personal, etc. I also reserve the right to answer with utter nonsense and wizwacket should it be my fancy

I am here to pick your brains (and possibly use the information to create a magical clone of you for my personal army). Let us begin.
You know if you had asked, I could have given a spell that summons a simulacrum.

What is your favourite spell to cast in the midst of war?
Tough one. I have many spells that I favour, but perhaps a favourite and personal signature would the Forest of a Thousand Needles spell. *grins* A most flexible and fun spell.

Which weapon would you say you are most proficient in?
The maul of course.

Have you ever considered joining The Order of Warlocks? I could put in a good word for you. xD
*raises an eyebrow then chuckles* Darkness is not one of my most proficient element. You would be better off with someone else. Besides... I hear the tower is a bit behind on room renovations. I think I shall stick to my abode in the woods.

Which has been your favourite storyline in an AE game so far?
*chuckles* There is something I like in all storylines. It is nigh impossible to choose. I suppose Bizarre Fleck and the Devourer's Saga would count as epic storylines. The ArchMages because of the wonderful lore and that yet to come.

Outside of AE, which games do you frequently play?
None really. AE games are much rather all that I play. Friends have shown me many others though.

What is your favourite sport, if any at all?
Air ball *uses wind magic*.

When the time comes, will you be prepared?
*Elryn grins*

1) How are the shackles feeling?
Not bad. I receive a brand new set. I just hope I do not accidently break them like the last... And the wall. I could use that to smash Wargoth's mooks though....

2) I can't help but notice that your robes are bloo. What are your feelings on that color?
*grins* Quite like it.

3) Why is it that you chose to help moderate this Forum?
The board was in good need of Archknights really. It was down to Pie and Theo since Mazic, Red Blizzard were no longer around. So when Scakk inquired, I gladly volunteered. Another drive is to see the Gears and Paxia forums active again.

4) Are you excited to begin your work here?
*chuckles* Work has already begun. Lots of it.

5) Who do you think are a greater threat to Lore, the Truphma or Wargoth?
How about having both of them in a two way war with you lot? There is only one way to find out...

6) If two NPCs, one unique to AdventureQuest and one unique to Dragonfable, could be forced to meet, who would you want them to be?
Hmm... Tough one. There plenty I would like to see meet. Unique does reduce the list (not to mention crossovers and possible NPCs that are present and unseen)... And now I have a peculiar fancy to see the meeting of a plethora of pairs just to see what would happen. I think I shall say Sepulchure and Xyphos just to see what kind of wizwacket would go on between the two of them and in what odd and insane way Xyphos would bring down Sepulchure (since the latter would likely try to kill him for his uncanny behaviour) .

7) Out of all the enemies you've fought in wars, which do you hate or fear the most?
*Elryn eyes glow with suppressed rage*

I recall the Truphma attacking Eukara.... I should pay them a visit...

8) If you could be aligned with any Element, what would it be?
I am align to several by nature.

9) What is it you enjoy most about Artix Entertainment?
Many things, but I suppose the community and friends most.

  • I see on the #gallery channel on IRC a lot. But I've never seen you comment or anything. Why is that?
    I lurk on many channels. I do chat some times, but I am often busy as well.
  • What do you think you bring to the AK position that no other has before?
    *chuckles* Another peculiar lad I suppose. I do not think I bring anything note worthy, but I try my best. With the addition of Cataclysm to the ranks though we have quite a few warmongers amongst us now.
  • What sort(s) of education have you completed?
    *Elryn reads his qualifications*
    30 years of practice under a Primal Mage.
    20 years of traveling the world and adventuring.
    Full apprenticeship under an Archmage.
    Countless wars and battles.
  • Any favorite books?
    Theorectical MetaMagics 101 by Kalanyr Arkan'ett
  • Any favorite movies/TV shows?
    Zardzilla
  • Any favorite activities/past times/hobbies?
    Reading, warring, magic amongst other things.

    The Federation of Uncannily bizarre and Nutty jokester deities (F.U.N. because they can) with Loco as council chairman and Radagast as a special guest. The next order of business to be discussed is the particularities of the 100 meter pie hurdles of the JokeOlympics. The council is divided into two camps. The ''Chip off the old pie crust'' group advocating for the old fashion manual flinging of pies at the unlucky hurdlers claiming that it be much rather efficient and ensure a drawn out bout of hilarity unlike the Pie Launcher while ''Pie-o-matix'' advocates for the use Loco's Pie Launcher arguing that the hilarity would come much faster and to higher degrees.

    1.Those shackles must be really tight no that you have another board to look at
    I go through two pairs a week.

    2.Gween or Hallow?
    Gweens are cuter.

    3.Chillax&Carnax VS Hallow, who wins?
    *looks at the flatten Hallow*

    Chillax&Carnax it is.

    4.Least favorite war?
    Horde of Alquemada was filled with tanks... Not fun. The last B.U.R.P. War had practically nothing but tanks. Not fun either.

    5.War that you had the most fun in?
    The Fight for the Future Wars were fun. Bradakhan was epic, but that does not count as fun I suppose. I have trouble remembering older wars, but a whelp as I was, they were fun as well. Mostly Harmful was fun in a way, even though we lost. I cannot quite place it, but it was. Fusion Dragon War for racing with BlackAces.

    6.War that you could not wait for it to finish?
    Hmmm... Hard to say. The end of wars means the end of races and the fun. Although perhaps the Final Countdown War counts as it went by rather fast and I was most curious about the story.

    7.You VS TCO, Kalle and Mystical, who wins?
    Ooh.... Tough one. It would no doubt be fun however.

    8.Why the Mage build?
    *chuckles* Because I am a Mage of course.

    9.Gween or Akriloth Plushie?
    Akriloth Plushie.

    10.Your first war?
    *chuckles* Hard to say. I likely stumble into it, warred a bit and then speed ff distracted by something else (as was customary at the time). Perhaps one of the older Undead Wars or Dragons Gone Wild. Whenever I clicked the Events button when Rhubarb was not on a hot summer beach.

    		 Sorry that everyone has been waiting a bit for the queries. Recent events had me busy, but things should be much better now up until the beginning of the school year.     1) Favourite thing about being an archknight?
    The sheer splendidness of those I work with and being able to help.

    2) How good is Elryn's hygiene?
    Very good. He is somewhat of gentleman I am certain you are quite aware. One cannot have tea without proper hygiene.

    3) If you could build an army of monsters for war, which ones would you choose?
    Are not warmongers monster enough?

    4) Favourite gear to wear?
    The one I always wear. Hidden away under my cloak through magical means.

    5) What is Elryn's destiny?
    Riddle.

    6) Sillest mistake Elryn has made?
    *Elryn remains silent, staring off into the distance*

    7) And last but not least, if the world of Lore became pacifistic, what would you do?
    *Elryn imagines Galanoth and Akriloth having a casual palaver over a cup of tea*

    I would likely join the tea and the conversation.

    On a more serious note, I would likely try to improve my use of healing spell, wander and spend some time in a peculiar library.
