So I have heard alot of talk on forums lately that the rating points and stars are useless and though I love collecting them I have to agree that they have no real use in game aside from looking bright and shiny below your char. So here is what I think they should be used for.
You get stars and rating points from achievements, majority of which are bough via tokens. So I think you should get a certain number of tokens back to you monthly, according to your rating and stars should serve as a sort of checkpoints and I worked out a little system which I think is well balanced.
1 star=500 rating points. 25
2 star=1 500 rating points. 50
3 star= 5 000 rating points. 100
4 star= 15 000 rating points.200
5 star=30 000 rating points.500
6 star=45 000 rating points.1000
7 star=65 000 rating points. 1500
1 blue=90 000 rating points. 2000
2 blue=115 000 rating points.2500
2 blue stars getting 2500 tokens is fair I think as only the oldest players can get them, such as alphas, elites and founders, and If memory serves the most valuable achievements that can be obtained by tokens are 2500. and since it's a monthly revenue it wont give old players any big advantage over the newer ones. I believe this is a fair system and it makes buying achievements sort of like investments for getting more tokens later.
I understand that this system may not be perfect but it's my idea and I am open to any suggestions.
