In this guide I am going to give you an overview of all the guests in DF. I will be saying what are the best to use in what situation and etc. This guide will be particularly helpful for a non DA or a low level. NOTE: Because there is already an Archknight guide I will not include any Archknight guests. Because of how complex it is I am not going to do a section on the Toddler Dragon.
You can use this go to a different part of the thread. All you need to do is click Control+f (Command+f on a mac) and then type in the desired code

How to Obtain: To obtain him equip Soulweaver, leave Ravenloss go back to Ravenloss and then you should see him there.
Skills:
Shatter
Description:Shatter your enemy's soul!
Effect: 1 hit of 50% Magic damage.
Mana Cost: 20
Cooldown: 10 Turns
Element: Ice
Tips: Don't use it at all. The attack button does more damage
Ice Domain
Description:Weaken the enemy to Ice
Effect: 4 hits of 100% damage, decreases Ice resistance by 25 for 10 turns.
Mana Cost: 20
Cooldown: 5 Turns
Element: Ice
Tips: This is a very strong skill. It is the best to start off with. Also if you are using an ice weapon this is very effective.
Shield
Description:Increase your ally's defense!
Effect: Casts a shield, gives you (the hero) +40 to Dodge, Parry and Block for 6 turns.
Mana Cost: 15
Cooldown: 10 Turns
Element: N/A
Tips:This is best used if your character is near death.
Hailstorm
Description:Frozen Multi-Strike Attack!
Effect: 1 hit of 50% Magic damage.
Mana Cost: 20
Cooldown: 4 Turns
Element: Ice
Tips: This is his strongest hit. that should say it all.
Attack
Description: N/A
Effect: 3 hits of 50% Magic damage.
Mana Cost: 0
Cooldown: 0 Turns
Element: Ice
Tips: Use this when you only have shatter left.
Strategies:
Normal Enemies

9. You shouldn't be fighting this boss if this and your hero hasn't finished him off.
Overview: He is one of the best Non-da Non Temporary guests in-game. If you love using guests and have pumped loads of stat points into Charisma, I'd recommend trying to train Soulweaver for this guest.
P.S If you haven't got DMK or a DC class you may want to use Soulweaver as well.
[APP]
Apprentice
How to Obtain: You have to be in one of the following quests "Dreamscape","Nightmares","Forging" or "The Merge."
Skills:
Jab
Effect: Two hits of 100% Melee damage .
Mana Cost: 0
Cooldown: 2 Turns
Element: Fire
Tips: Never use this
Attack
Effect: Three hits of 100% melee damage.
Mana Cost: 0
Cooldown: 0 Turns
Element: Fire
Tips: Use it all the time
Strategies:
Spam the attack button whenever possible since it is the best hit.
Overview: It's very simple to use. It's not good enough to go out of your way to get though.

Aquella
How to Obtain: Play "The Risen" or "Rescue"
Skills:
Attack
Effect:
One hit of 100% Damage.
When playing "The Risen" you (the hero) get a stackable 25% boost along with the attack.
When playing "Rescue" Aquella is affected by wound.
Mana Cost: 0
Cooldown: 0 Turns
Element: Nature
Tips: Use it all the time
Strategies:
Spam attack.
Overview: This is very useful in "The Risen: , a titan fight, because it boosts your dragon's damage by quite a bit.
[ARI]
Aria
How to Obtain: You have to play through the quest "Critter cave(Book 1)" and on the way back you will have Aria as a guest.

Attack
Description: Attack
Effect: 1 hit of 100% Melee damage.
Mana Cost: 0
Cooldown: 0 Turns
Element: Nature
Tips: Use it all the time.
Strategies:
Spam attack.
Overview:
She isn't a particularly good guest but you have to use her on a quest

Artix
How to Obtain:
You can invite him from Amityvale, The Necropolis, his statue house item and you have to use him in Noxus Fumes.
Skills:
Holy
Description: Converts damage into Light.
Effect: 4 hits of 100% damage.
Mana Cost: 5
Cooldown: 10 Turns
Element: Light
Tips: Use it a lot.

Description: None
Effect: One hit of 100% damage, OR a chance for 4 hits of 100% damage

Overview: He was one of the bests guests until what I like to call the second generation of guests (Rolith, Aegis, Mennace, etc.) came along. Now, not so useful.

How to Obtain: If you want him ,invite him from Falconreach at Daytime.

Effect: One hit of 100% damage.

Tips:It is his only attack  .

Batoro
How to Obtain: Go to Batoro's NPC which can be found in night time Falconreach in book 3.

Sploosh
Description: We've fired the sound effects guy.
Effect: 5 hits of 22% melee damage.
Mana Cost: 0
Cooldown: 3 Turns
Element: Darkness
Tips: It's a nice hit but Batoro has better.
OOOOOFF!
Description: Double Attack
Effect: 2 hits of 60% damage.
Mana Cost: 0
Cooldown: 6 Turns
Element: Darkness
Tips: His most damaging hit.
BAM
Description: Misdirection is Key for this attack.
Effect: 1 hit of 100% Melee damage. It also gives a 3 turn stun.
Mana Cost: 0
Cooldown: 9 Turns
Element: Darkness
Tips: It is a good attack if you're character is low levelled.
Attack
Description: None
Effect: 1 hit of 100% Melee damage.
Mana Cost: 0
Cooldown: 0 Turns

He is a nice guest who you have to use in certain quests.

How to Obtain:
Obtained from Resident Sneevil: The Beehive! or Resident Sneevil: Uprising.

Description: N/A
Effect: 1 hit of 100% Melee damage.
Mana Cost: 0
Cooldown: 0 Turns
Element: Light
Tips: Use it all the time as their is no other skills.
Strategies:

Overview: She isn't the best guest but her level and damage scale so she works OK.

Caran
How to Obtain:
She joins you when you fight corrupted Davey during the quest "The Bottom."

Description: Guaranteed Crit
Effect: 1 hit of 100% Melee damage with 100% crit.
Mana Cost: 5
Cooldown: 11 Turns
Element: Evil
Tips: It is her most powerful hit.
Multi
Description: Hits All Enemies
Effect: 100% melee damage hits all foes.
Mana Cost: 10
Cooldown: 4 Turns
Element: Darkness
Tips: I don't think you need to use this hit.
Demon
Description: 150% Dmg -25 resist to all
Effect: 150% melee damage and gives your opponent a -25 resist to all.

Cooldown: 9 Turns

Tips: Better to use this skill if you are a low level

How to Obtain:
