Generally in a game they avoid offering the possibility of buying everything in a burst.

The only idea I have ever agreed with about unlocking class changes was to be able to change back to your original class for free. If your original class when you created the account was Tech Mage, you should be able to change class to Tech Mage for free. Every other class change should be priced.
