I think this is good as now the game can be played once again by intellect and strategy, not just $ to win my battles. Though it
may be bad cause less people will pay and varium purchases are EDs source of income so is it good or bad that enhancements are leaving and the gap between non var and var is closing-I think that gap needs to remain because i pay money for this game these guys do not . T.T so what do you think guys. Fire away.

The "awesome features" will cost Varium... lots of it.

Paying != advantage. Forget it once Omega starts. You don't deserve any advantage because you pay because you already have it. Would you rather enhance whole Set of items for 500K Gold which takes very long time & lose because you have no enhancements OR buy Varium and have immediate advantage over them and beat 'em? You will still have it. They have to work for it.
Source of income? It's none of our business in terms of how it affects ED. You shouldn't worry about it.

I think in the long run this change will also save them money,

because instead of quitting after realizing the high cost people will be more likely to stay knowing they can continue to use the same wepons.

I know I would still not play this game if it were not making these changes and alot have also admitted this.

This will also encourage more loyal and happy to pay players.

Oh my bad guess I went wrong...I'm still sad enhancements are leaving though :| I did put in a heck of alot of varium/$ to get all em enhances-just seeing it go down the drain is quite saddening :( even though there will be
compensation I'd really just prefer a varium refund

Lack of enhancements will hurt jug players big time.

In jug mode the jug needs an advantage besides a few levels to survive, and without enhancements and all players on the same playing level Jugs will get slaughtered, But otherwise it will be a good thing.

No, you don't need edge over the game. You choose to get it and it's just saving you time instead of playing for days (literally) to do the same thing with Credits. Varium will NOT mean advantage anymore over F2P. It'll just save you time farming. So pay or work.

So your saying it's like a shortcut to get bigger things quicker I understand that but I have to side with mother1 juggernaut mode will be destroyed especially if they are vsing two full var players they will get creamed.enhancement helps make them tanky to survive against people like these

Balance changes will come after awhile of observation. Juggernaut will most likely be changed if it proves a problem.

Was talking about for Juggernaut. Have you seen what happened when 2 fully powered varium players at the level cap for jugs did to a level cap jug when every was on a level playing field? The jug got slaughtered. It has happened to me a few times and has happened to others as well.

Plus have you had a partner disconnected and you had to face two fully powered players that were on your level? Jug mode in omega will be just that if something isn't done. That is my worry if not enhancements to balance it out then something else to make it so the jug can actually win.

ehh, i heard they are slicing a large amount of stats from items. so players have less stats in total.

personally, im not too sure if thats the right way to go unless i took a good look at it.
but yeah i got pretty tired of having to enhance gear all the time.
all this time reposting and repeating suggestions from MANY months (if not over a year) has finally paid off.

ED is putting in lvl upgrading to ur items which is a huge plus art wise and cost wise for players.

its also somewhat of a relief on the art staff, now the players have a massive pool of weapons to choose from, and the devs wont have to release 5-6 items a week in order to keep up revenue.

hopefully now after this is done, they can focus on improving gameplay quality, and improving features (e.i faction founder step down, HQ designs based on faction lvl, HQ items (like house items),

ugh why am i typing all of these examples? just check out a big list i wrote up Here on faction improvements alone.

^Im kinda scared about the slicing stats part too.
I think they shouldve just stick with agility being lvl scaled.
