La chute de Epicduel

Ne pensez-vous pas les joueurs de quitter epicduel plutôt que de jouer? Je pense que c'est aussi à voir avec les langues dans le jeu. Ils sont très limitées et n'ont pas beaucoup de choix.

Que pensez-vous devrait être modifié dans les options de langue?

I don't know. I would rather have games available in English than in my native language. In fact, I choose English even if there was the option to choose my native language. Somehow English works better, although it's probably just a personal preference.

I wish you wouldn't have translated that to English, so I would have felt more elite because I know French;)

As for the language thing, I'm fine with how it is...

everyone should learn English, I'm Chinese but i like English better, i feel that some foreign languages sound awkward.

Adding Languages is quite tiresome, and I rarely see anyone who doesn't speak English or Portuguese (quite irritating due to my knowledge of Spanish English and French but not Portu. ) so this really should take a far back seat. If they were to really try to attract players, I think they would first launch an advertising bomb prior to adding languages. I always see AQW ads when I am surfing but no Epic Duels ones. >3

Sa tingin niyo ba umaalis ang mga naglalaro ng epicduel kaysa maglaro? Sa tingin ko dahil ito sa lengguwahe ng laro ay masyadong limitado at wala masyadong pagpipilian.

Ano sa tingin niyo ang dapat baguhin sa pagpili ng wika?

I don't have any idea on what word will I change to drop. Anyway not sure if I translated that accurately but can anyone guess what language is this without using google translator?

I think english works fine and in lanuages like french which i can speak ot might become difficult and english is probably the most used language in the world and most coutries if not all countris in North America include the main language of English.

Pouquoi moi je trouve que sa vas avec les langue mais ce qui fais vraiment chuter Epic Duel c'est l'inegalite dans se jeu (desoler j'ai une trais mauvaise orthograph )

@Kaiser. Masyadong sensitibo kasi pag-usapan ito at naniniwala ako na malaki ang pinagkaiba ng dalawang ito.

English translation

This is a highly sensitive topic if we are going to discuss this and I believe they are very different.

Also

If you find my previous post a bit controversial or racial, no offence to some and I don't really want to discuss this. It's up to you to look for the real difference between a filipino and pinoy so please respect my opinion.

Remove the i so maybe pnoy.

We implement translations based on the following factors:

1. Size of the player base that speaks a particular language.

2. Availability of a good translator for that language.

3. Availability of someone to verify the translator's ability.

Finding a qualified translator is the most difficult part -- someone who speaks and writes 2 languages fluently and works fast. That said, completed translations are fairly easy to drop in once they're completed providing they use a Roman alphabet. I'm not sure how our engine would handle kanji or cyrillic.

 Nou, ik wil ook wel een nederlandse versie van dit spel hebben, dan is het voor mij een stuk makkelijker.
Ik zou ook graag zelf alles willen vertalen voor de andere nederlanders, maar dat kan wel even duren aangezien ik stage moet lopen doordeweeks.

My mother language is quite the opposite of English tho, but it's not a problem at all, as well. Btw, those who really can't speak/write/understand English wouldn't actually create an account and play as well.

Being a translator is an easy job, nothing makes me interested on it, Though I better having English than my own language, even I barely speak my own Language anyhwere.

I think the languages in-game are fine. They provide the most common languages used worldwide yet sometimes joining a 2v2 battle and battling with 3 players who use the same language which is unusual to me is like being an orange in a carrot basket. If you know what I mean. :3
