Well if it makes you feel any better Travis, you're not the only sick one.

Dis: I think strep throat may be going around... for 2 days now its felt like its on fire. I've been having the sniffles and an awful headache though these last few hours...

Dis: Womba rarely ever gets sick. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS?!

Dis: A ligament or tendon or something... I don't even know... anyway my left arms been bothering me all day to. Starts hurting a bit when I move it into certain positions. (I'm normally fine with)

Acc: Back hasn't been bothering me as much lately.

Acc: Gargling salt water... seems like a really silly gimmick but it works. Good thing to do when your throat is sore... just be prepared for a bit of discomfort... then relief, the salt pulls water out of the inflammation and it can cause you to gag. Makes the swelling go down a bit though...

UBERDIS: Athletics Carnival is cancelled due to wet weather :( I can't believe this happened again. That means no fun D:
DIS: Because of this, I have to go to school as usual.

Dis: Finals coming up. Yippee.
Dis: Tendon in my knee has been acting up so I can't go to lacrosse for a while, stacked with the rain everywhere I can't do anything.
Dis: I'm also starting to feel the beginnings of a virus, I won't go into the details.
Acc: At least school ends relatively soon!
Dis: Funny how teachers always save everything important and assign it the week before finals. Surprise 3 speeches and 2 essays with tests intertwined.
Dis: Way too many dis accomplishments :(

ACC: Passed final part of IC3 exams! I now have my IC3! Tech job where I can prove I have no life, here I come!

Acc: I past all of my final test with a good grade.

Dis: Reminds me of something I built when I was... I think 9 years old at the time...? Anyway.... my old crudely painted birdhouse is falling apart now. Guess enough years of rain and hurricanes will do that.

Acc: It's not strep throat. Just a cold.

Dis: CAN'T STOP SNEEZING.

???: Cats are getting huge. :P

Acc: 3 day weekend.

Dis: 1 day left after today.

Acc: HOPEFULLY going to see Iron Man 3 at some point.

Mega-dis: Got totally awful grades this semester. (Purely my own fault for not doing the work.) An F, a handful of Ds, and a C. I'll have to retake almost all of the classes and will lose all or most of my scholarships.
Acc: Been working on my typing, using typing teaching software and to a lesser extent just trying to get general practice. Started at 20 wpm, and I'm noticing some progress already.
Acc: Been applying for jobs.
Dis: Haven't been applying for enough jobs, especially considering the state of the economy here and my relative lack of marketable skills.

Dis: Man I do NOT need this, nor does my mother... my older brother is in a complete manic state now for reasons best left unsaid. If any of you know someone who is Bipolar... you'd have an idea.

Dis: This whole situation is already turning even more sour. I try to stay cool and calm over things and manipulate them how I see fit so nothing horribly horribly horrible happens. Buuuut that doesn't always work.

Dis: I... don't think this will turn out good. And that's REALLY bad if I'm doubting something will end well.

Acc: I used to know him. He caught by school bus a bit. Really nice guy.
Dis: Grandpa's funeral tomorrow.
Acc: He had a great life, and is in a better place.
Dis: It feels selfish in a way to be sad over his death, when he has gained something much better and eternal.

Acc: I'm free! No more schoolwork this term! I'm done with my "finals", so to say, though we don't have those here. What's left to do is practice for the graduation performances. As music students we have to stay an extra day to sing for the graduating third-graders, but that's fine. We get to do our musical performance of "Greased Lightning" again!

Dis: Major disadvantage of not living with your parents: not owning your own dishwasher. So conveniant. So luxurious. So sorely missed.

 ACC: Discovered a local grocery shop a couple streets behind my local train station. It's common knowledge that the area is filled with ethnic shops, but somehow I never bothered walking past the chemist's to see the grocery store. (Don't judge, I've only been in this place for half a year and I live on the opposite side of the station.) This makes me so much less dependent on my mum's visits; now I can actually replenish my stock of milk etc. halfway through the week.

ACC: Had a wonderful last day in school yesterday! And the party we had the same night was hilarious!
DIS: I'll miss my old teachers...And some of my classmates...
???: Final exams beginning this month, beginning with Danish on Monday...Really nervous...

There's a fire a county or two away, so the weather is mainly falling ash. How oddly fitting.
