You should speak with Labyth, he uses all of the not so used character including Rats and Bats.

i've met him before and i know he uses the rats but i have never seen him use any of the bats

@Goma: Lol I have seen him. He uses a lot of different UP characters.

Even I specialize in Shadowdance but I haven't been using him for battles recently. Unfortunately, I am a bit rusty and I realized no matter how perfect you think you are, there is always room for improvement because you aren't perfect. As a result, if you stop training you lose your previous skill .-. haha that escalated quickly! xD

Indeed.

People think "I spended 1 month on X character and has won 99% of the times in PvP with him, now I'm pro" but they are wrong. You can ALWAYS improve, no matter what you think! No one can 100% be pro with a champion, even I has to admit that I'm not a pro with Orc characters (which I spend most of the time using in PvP)

that's true. so you specialize in shadow dance? interesting i like to use earth more (mostly taurus and hammer nomad) since earth is unpredictable

funny you mention that i won two times over a ogre trapper and he starts calling me a pro i guess the word proffesional variate from player to player
i tried to tell him that i got some lucky hands but he didn't seem believe me

@Jmagic if you died because your life was below 1000 during a fight or won because your opponents life was below 1000 you should report it i have encounter it a few times.

I wonder if Retribution and Power Flow will be available for CC and i have a feeling that energize, neutralize and Fresh Start will be banned from CC

Nulgath has been doing a pretty good job at what cards should not make it into Series packs so judging by this, I doubt cards like Retribution and Power Flow will make it.

Unless he puts some sort of restriction on them, I don't see how it will be implemented. Especially since people would spam Fresh Start and Power Flow together.

As for element energy boosting cards, maybe a Fresh Start could make it barring Power Flow. The rest of the Water type cards are pretty nifty which makes me sad that the type doesn't fair so well in battle.

EDIT: Reason why Energize and Neutralize wouldn't make it is because they are just too powerful, especially Energize and Storm combo. For Neutralize, it would just destroy the uniqueness of the characters that already have a Neutral dual type combo pre-implemented in decks. If Iron Hide doesn't make it, we might see Neutralize.

Water needs a NUKE something that does 1000 +damage but it isn't such a bad element i was able to defeat Storm Knight with Pirate

I could see the potential for several new cards once ER and multi character dueling comes out.

Water Cards:

Water Veil (4) - Heal 800 HP over 2 turns and provides +2 resistance to Fire
Water Spout (5) - Counter 500 incoming damage and provides +2 resistance to Fire
Torrential Wave (7) - 500 damage to enemy party and stuns current enemy for 1 turn
Whirlpool (5) - 1200 damage over 4 turns (lasts even if enemy switches out)

Water is good, it's just the decks of the best characters that sucks. Water does not need a nuke to work, it is supposed to be a constant flow of medium level damage and heal cards that are very cost efficient. The problem as it is right now is that they have some problems in their overall deck. If we take Quaztk as an example: He is a master, but he has way too many 2 attack cards (4/15), two or three of these should be made into water rapid to better match the water theme. Another problem is that he only has one shield card in his deck, while having two refreshes which require you to use shield cards to activate. It's like having only one attack card in a deck, but having two empowers. Also, refresh is an issue in itself. if it had worked correctly, it would give you 300 health at the cost of 5 energy and having to use it on a shield card. The energy cost is way too high and should be lowered to 1 or be free, making it a heal version of empower. However, it is bugged right now, so if you get the bright idea that you should use it now, you will end up using the 5 energy + the cost of the shield for the effect. The catch is that the shield card will be discarded, but not used, the result being a card that heals 300 health at the cost of 8 energy.

In theory, water is a good element that could work well against most opponents in long dragged fights, but it is hindered by its own deck setup and refresh.

i would bet that if you replace refreshes with shields and some of the 2-attacks with water rapids on Quaztk, he would be a very good character.

I agree with Necro, Water is a very good type. It is just that it got screwed over with horrible deck construction. Plus, your suggestion of making Refresh like Empower is a very interesting one. Since you are recovering HP, it should have an energy cost of 1. That seems fair to me.

That is a very good point and that could balance Quaztk out, they really need to do something about refresh.

On a side note I started using Rev (18 atm I think) and he is a very solid character, I might even use him as my main shadow instead of BD and I love his 5 hit combo .

I was thinking make refresh an empower, but to shields. basically discard a card for some extra shields.

I dunno, was an idea I tossed around for a bit.

If it is going to be 500 add an element point or two to the cost or nerf it to 4 or just too OP.
