I don't know Gaining shields from Refresh just doesn't sound right to me. The heal is good enough because getting a heal is just so refreshing, lol you know? It is just the cost that is the problem really. I gotta stick with Necro's take on it.

Refresh should heal and add 300 to the shield thats enough to balance out water

Making refresh a shield card would just make it another ice element, just without shatter. I think the reverse empower way is the better option overall.

And shadow CC is a blessing in disguise for Quaztk. add two empowers and you'll notice that he is a completely different character. Empower makes great use of all the useless cards. i'd like to test sacrifice too, but i have not gotten a single one in about 20 16 packs.

Yes, Necro has got the right idea. Besides, it is pretty clear that Water types are known for their healing abilities so it would be nice to emphasize this as much as possible. Making Refresh with shields would make it a potential Ice type. Even though Water and Ice are typically the same substances with Ice being the solid form of water, I would like the idea of the former using a defensive strategy via healing while the latter uses shielding as the method of defence. Just to add to that idea of them being different sides of the same coin.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Sacrifice is not in the Shadow Series pack! I hope you didn't waste all that currency just for Sacrifice

I really need to start Card Customizing my Shadowdance .-. I am getting tired of losing all the time. Don't get me wrong though Necro, it was a very good match!

It doesn't have to be like it, it is pretty good as it is. But yeah, I agree that it should be changed. As it is, you will almost always waste a lot of mana by using it.

the problem with fresh start is that with waters deck, you will most likely not be able to spend all your energy with two cards, if you have an energy count of 9-12 or 18-20 you WILL end up wasting mana by going over the limit, and that is just the best case scenarios.

@necro which is why when Water CC Cards come out, one should cost like 9.
@above wow, my first was like 4 204 attacks, and an Ice Needle.Second: 4 204 attacks, and a Frostbite. Third one(from shadow) 4 204 attacks and 515 shield.

Here's my progress
I try to get the Alpha Pirate, and failed possession.
I tried fighitng the Raventhurkey, (why is there an h, is that a typo?), and failed over 20 times.
I tried finding an Ogre. After I game someone from level 1 veteran to masters and got to level 3, I got him.
I tried getting a Monk only to be hit with the hp glitch and die.
During the tournament, a lot of people hit me with the 2-minute cool-down-disconnect-glitch. That, or I found level 15 black dragons pwning me.
Ulric, the master lighting wolf, is level 14, and is my ace/first character.
I am really liking the Fire Witch Master (looking forward for the master wizard).
I bought the Male Void Incarnate, yay. (This is cause I failed possession of him after 10 times. I don't have that much time.)
So yeah, some good, some bad.

@Jmagician: I'm broke because of Shadow CC XD I spent my surplus of 100K gold. And I also used 40 SG's... Shadow CC payed me back very well in kind.

OverSoul has deceived me, after getting 4 defense cards on a card pack it boosted my confidence and then I immediately got 2 packs straight 1 cards. OS is such a jerk.
