It's probably not released yet, since the design notes only mentioned Erfrierung, Xmas Fiend, and XMas Elf.

Are Gold packs really selling for 1000 Gold now? Since when?

I will let Warlic know of the Text bug, he has been spending some of his extra time trying to clean up some of the code to help get rid of some of the lag.

If you have some spare gold I would say do that. If you only have 15000, I would say earn some more first by leveling some of your more liked chars.

Just to add to what Megakyle said, it's not like we have much else to spend gold on. Thankfully it's just CC packs and characters so you might as well give buying the packs a shot. Just don't do what I did two days ago and end up spending the vast majority of your gold.

My advise to you is, save up as much gold as possible to at least 200K gold and then you can spare some gold on the Gold Pack CC. Honestly, chances of getting high rarity card is not very easy with Gold Pack, so its wiser to save as much gold as possible so you can afford some gold on the Gold Pack CC.

if I bought the 20 soul gem pack or the 40 soul gem pack
what would be the best bang for my buck?

The 40 gem back saves you 5 american cents,which is almost nothing, compared to the 20 SG package so if you want you can just get the 20 SGs and try saving up enough for a bigger package but if you want just get the 40 Sg package that way if you want boosts you can get more out of them if you farm

That is all up to you. You can use your Soul Gems to buy decent characters, get more Xp boost (recommended, otherwise you'll be spending days reaching the high levels) or upgrade certain characters to their Legendary form.
Characters like Frost Queen requires Soul Gem to upgrade to master & Legendary.
I wouldn't suggest spending SG on custom cards, as you can just gather gold from levelling. To reach lvl 20 has netted me 100k gold alone with only 50% Exp boost.

Of course there are characters exclusive to only SG, but you can use your SG's to catch characters too.

CC rotation came a day early, and there were a few fixes to text errors as well as some lag reduction in some of the characters.

Ok, bought one. Now I have 8 SG left, I'll spend once on Fire CCs, and once on Neutral CC's. I have 80,000 gold, which I will spend 2 Packs on Neutral, 2 packs on fire, leaving me on extra pack which I will use on Fire or Neutral depending on what I get from my previous packs. . . XD

YES! Time to buy Neutral CC's! Woot.

Alright, so from two Gold packs, I got:

x1 Corruption
x1 Death Flow
x5 Shields
x3 500 Attack

Hmm. What would be a good combination for Void Rebirth. . . ?

I'm still waiting on Fire CC's. I have 50,000 Gold, and 8 Soulgems left. :D

So far I tried Corruption, and it's beautiful combined with Fire Whirl, though it takes a while to muster up enough energy, unless I take a risk and skip one Iron Hide.
If I do that, I'll have to wait until another Neut. comes around again in which case I will have 19 Energy to use. Meanwhile, I can use one Neutral shield to cover. . . .Is that a good idea?

Haha, I tried Deathflow already. Not very. . . . VR friendly. . . since it takes a whopping 15 energy. I take a big risk if I neut, and then charge Neutral. . . good for a finish-off, especially with VR's 5-hit animation. Lol.

And call me crazy, I tried 5 Shields. . .. . not bad actually. :D

I bought the 20 SG package for $5.00. Does that unlock the Revontheus stuff shown on the DN or is that not out yet?

It's out. Talk to Santa warlic at Solace, he is to your right. You can buy them for 0 gold whether you bought SG or not, but you've unlocked Upholder void, congratulations!

Every 2 weeks I think.


This one came 1 day early.

Another question: When do you guys stop charging? I stop at 14. . .but I see some people go up to 19. . . . .

Most that i'm aware of go to 19, though pre level 6 i do 14, as the battles are too short to care,

If you're not on 19, you're not gaining 5 a turn, which means say a battle lasts 10 turns after you stop charging, foe has had 20 more mana than you, and with base attack cards of worst quality, that's an extra 2k damage,
