Wow the timing on this update(if it gets released today) would be perfect because most schools are off in the US, I'm not sure about other parts of the world.

 Mines started 7 Days ago, Hopefully I have enought time to Hit lvl 40.
Release looks pretty Good, I didn't wanted to Use Varium on the new Vehicles but all of the Transformations Vehicles are Varium only sadly.

You have to remember that there are over 50 items being added on this update; all of them can be obtained through the Arcades!

I wonder if they addressed how mercs with swords cannot get energy back or steal energy without additional cores.

It would be fine if they didn't do anything about it, my mercenary does not use a sword build at all because that would be severely underpowered. I wonder if we get to have more HP than the NPC's now.

 Yes Dual Thrusters, that is correct. On the livestream they said that the bot-vehicles will be varium only.

Our forum is so dead now... remember when we get 1 design note page to 30 pages in 1 day... Now its been 2 days.... And we're not even close on getting 10 pages... I feel sad.

No it wouldn't. The bot takes a while to get high defense taken away (3 first rough and +3 up to 9). The hawk could get rid of all of it on the first round.

Cause half of the players quit the game, no wonder the forums get less populated.
