«Mid-defensive class armor. Protects from Light. Allows you to use the first five skills of Knight class after learning them.»

NOTES
  • Class Level is your Knight class level, and it increases automatically as you complete Knight class quests. This ranges from 0 to 10.
  • Class Power Level is the Power Level of the armor, based on your Class Level. It is equal to 40 + 3*ClassLevel, and so it ranges from 40 to 70.
  • Skill Level is the level of the skills of the armor. It's equal to your Class Level by default, but can be changed by clicking the Knight class icon in your skill menu. This ranges from 0 to ClassLevel. Using lower levels makes your skills weaker, but also reduces their costs.
  • Skill Power Level is the Power Level of the skills, based on your Skill Level. It is equal to 40 + 3*SkillLevel.

    DESCRIPTION
    A basic set of armour used by those training to become a Knight!







    Level 1 - Knight's Armaments
    Calls forth a temporary shield and a weapon for you to wield in battle! Your sword and shield will grow stronger as you gain levels in Knight, but they will vanish if you change armors! Rennd's equipment is especially good at demon-slaying! Click again to unsummon.

    Level 2 - Defensive Stance - Guardian
    Every knight must know how to defend themselves. Your foes will find it harder to harm you while defending, though your attacks won't be as strong!
      Your armour's lean is changed from x0.9 to x0.8. Instead of the attack numbers above, the new normal attack uses the following numbers:

      This also affects the damage and SP costs of your other skills.

    Level 3 - Shield Bash!
    With your extensive knowledge of sword and shield combat, you can now use your shield as a weapon! Lower your shield and deliver a powerful bash that deals damage based on how strong your shield is, with a good chance to Daze your enemy!
      For the purposes of this skill, your shield is turned into a weapon. The power of this "weapon" is based on the Power Level of your equipped shield:

        Base = round((0.00375*ShieldPowLvl^2 + 0.5625*ShieldPowLvl + 5.25)/2/(1+0.03*ShieldPowLvl))
        Random = round(2*(0.00375*ShieldPowLvl^2 + 0.5625*ShieldPowLvl + 5.25)/2/(1+0.03*ShieldPowLvl) - Base)

      If the hit connects and does more than 0 damage, then it attempts to Daze the monster for 4 rounds, with [monster resistance to shield element]*40% chance of not acting each round. The monster can resist this with a save at a +0 bonus:

    Level 4 - Blade of Retaliation! - Guardian Only
    A knight is trained to defend the helpless, and retaliate against evil. Spend a turn to weather your opponent's blows and tire him out, then strike with a vicious counterattack!
      This turn, you do nothing and all attacks made by the monster automatically connect.

      On your next turn, you perform the following attack:

    Level 5 - Brotherhood!
    Your greatest strength is the company you keep. Call forth another knight to aid you in battle!
      Summons Squire as a guest. Use the skill again to dismiss him. Summoning or dismissing him will not cause you to lose your turn.
