I feel that there isn't enough creativity going on here, so i'll post this here to fix that.
What makes your specific ED character special? Is it some special gear? Unique past? Special abilities? Different species?
For example my ED character(kittn) is an exile bounty hunter whose home was destroyed by the Legion. She holds a deep grudge against Baelius for this, and desires revenge against him. She also has one normal eye, and one mechanical cat eye that can see longer distances, can see in the dark, and also gives her extreme precision with a blade.

 Not sure if it makes it special as such, but I've nearly always got Celtic Cleaver equipped from the day I bought it years back. It'll never leave my side :3

I remember writing a story for my character long ago in the old forums for a topic similar to this.
Anyways, I guess what makes my character special and sets them apart from other's lies in how i came to be in my first faction.

I joined the community wanting to weld my way in and try to become a well developed character. Ace Rogan (my character) met this high leveled tech mage with Founder armor named sha 2nd mage way back in BETA, and he commenced a talk with him and convinced him to let Ace into the faction. As a member striving to be the best he can be Ace Rogan won 15 battles a day which was part of sha 2nd mage's deal. Ace was eventually kicked out of the faction for unknown reasons and later trained his way up to a high enough level and found sha once more and defeated him for betraying him.

Another fun fact about my character is that the first player I EVER fought was named Noob as in the level 1 pitch black bounty hunter that has like 4,000 fame.

 @SpawnArchAngel: Interesting story.

I used to play a lot. School life got busy and stuff so now Exploding Penguin isn't on as much. Exploding Penguin is an exploding penguin not because I hate penguins (which many people ask me in-battle), but because it's a reference to prinnies from disgaea. I love penguins. Now Exploding Penguin is on the forums a decent amount.

 I guess what makes my character special is I havent changed the armor and colors since the release of the Seraph Armor. No clue when the armor was actually released without reading the DN's but judging from the wiki page I would say early august in 2010.... That is a long time to not change your character

Using 200+ hp builds even when they were considered "troll builds" which surprisingly enough they still are. Even when very high hp+little str builds were considered "Weak" I used them. Every so often people will say to me "I remember you, you had *insert number* hp" I enjoy being known for it.

Mine is special because I always was a tech mage and i don;t plan to change that fact(with 2 exceptions,once to get the achievement and once to try blood mage class) .I am a Badwitch in game so I never lose my pointy hat :P..and i would like a witch armor to be complete...in rest tm spells are just great for my character...and my colors red/black like my faction flag..

I'm pretty sure there was someone else who was first in creating the 200+ HP TM build, because quite a few of my friends knew him from beta or alpha and told me he was known for doing that.

Forgot to mention I was also known for using hazard husk + gandalf hair style to become a buff old man.

I always use the hairstyle I have equipped, because imo it best suits my class. It also goes well with any armor.
