What if the name's colour of your character depended of the colour of your stars when you reach the level 40? It just an esthetic change but I think it would seem cool.

While this might be interesting, there are staff members who have gold names and the stars before they turn blue are gold as well. Could cause a lot of issues if all new players who gain golden stars had gold names.

Other than this as long as the staff made the star colors not clash with mod, or admin colors names this would be a cool idea.

Well mods have green name so they wont be a problem, at least for now, maybe the green stars come after red.
Anyway devs and mods can have a better..desing, like a bigger and brighter name. While a player with gold stars have just a yellow name, a dev can have a gold name.
By the way, now that i thing it, it would be better if your name is red with red stars below. A blue name with yellow stars or red stars just seems a bit weird.

why not like everyone who reach rank 100 + have a red name ? like from blue stars to red stars ... blue names to red names upon rank 100 +

While everybody really care about rank because of all the benefits it gives (achievements, weapons and points for battlers), not many players cares about stars. If you add another benefit of getting stars, people will care about them. Players would be attracted by the posibility of getting a blue or red name, which will make them feel like better players.
