It would be nice if the Bloodthorn Shield inflicted a stackable bleed on block

Why doesn't it matter for the melee/ranged versions?

Also didn't Keyote have a misc too?

Anyone else getting wrong SP costs? With the bloodzerker toggle on, the cost should be 490+197=687 SP

But I am spending 736 SP (1431->695) per cast.

You're double-tapping on the magic cost increase. As a result you pay (392*1.25) + (197*1.25) = 736 sp.

So Briar blade is the best water weapon for mages now? Eternal Chrono Dagger might finally be replaced if thats the case

Briar is the best if you are playing a nuke mage and have the bloodzerker armors. Otherwise you can probably stick with eternal chrono dagger.

So how does Briar blade work with the werepyre class? does it still have a better scaling than the melee/ranged versions if it synergizes with the class?

The Briar Blade is boosted both by the lv. 10 subrace transformations and by the Bloodzerker toggle skills, I believe.
