2023 Summer Season of Gifting:
Tibbles the Merry Elf has returned with a wave of joy and gifting extravaganza to AdventureQuest's 2023 Summer Season of Gifting. In this year's gifting contest, Tibbles brings double the excitement with two sets of prizes! First, there are coveted community prizes, The Mermazon Champion Set. As players generously shower each other with gifts, specific gifting milestones will be reached. With each milestone, the entire AdventureQuest community unlocks fantastic rewards, fostering a sense of togetherness and shared accomplishment!

But that's not all! Tibbles also recognizes the top gifters as the elite "Giftmasters." These extraordinary individuals stand out for their incredible generosity and dedication to spreading cheer. The Giftmasters will be rewarded with their own unique set of prizes, The Wingweaver Battlegear Set, specially curated to showcase their remarkable giving spirit and elevate their status as true gifting champions.

And don't miss your chance to win one of the 25 Iceborne Visage Miscs being given away every day during the contest for players gifting that day. Every Z-Token you generously give becomes a gift for another player, so players can receive daily surprises of up to 5K Z-Tokens just for enjoying AQ!

  • Iceborne Visage Misc: 25 given away every day of the contest for players gifting that day! The daily prize will be delivered right before midnight server time, at the end of each day.


    *Custom Weapon Skin:
    The top 5 most generous giftmasters will receive a golden dev ticket that can be used to reskin 1 weapon of their choosing.
  • This is a cosmetic-only reskinning of an existing weapon, but selecting any of the 8 standard elements for your weapon is ok.
  • The winner does not need to currently own the weapon.
  • Temporary weapons are not eligible (this includes ALL versions of the Dragonblade).
  • Staff weapons are not eligible.
  • Sharing prizes will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Tomes are ok to choose, but only the book itself can be reskinned. The spell's element will be the same as the tome but the graphics/animations will remain unchanged, even if a different element is chosen.
  • No-Drop gear, ie. Blade of Awe, is ok to choose.
  • If the weapon has multiple forms (Melee/Ranged/Magic), one form for your weapon must be selected.
  • AdventureQuest staff holds the final decision when it comes to the eligibility of your selection.

    		 The same issues that caused the tracking to break, also caused problems with the daily prize distribution. The issue has now been resolved and Captain Rhubarb has retroactively given out all of the missing daily prizes!

    		 As the contest's conclusion is just over a week away, I have some updates to share! The top giftmaster list now showcases precise Z-Token gift totals, reflecting the remarkable generosity prevailing this season. In light of the immense support, we've modernized the way we present results, moving away from vague figures. The top giftmaster list updates every 2 minutes. Additionally, we've eased the limits on total amounts purchased, streamlining the purchasing process for players by reducing unnecessary hoops to jump through.

    Here is a sneak peek at the prizes that await if the total tokens gifted reach 30 million! Prepare for an offensive edge with an elemental twist – a Seaturtle pet variant geared towards offense, accompanied by a brand-new King Crab Assault spell. These two additional set items will be set to release along with the Wingweaver gear during the same week.

    		 The summer gifting season has drawn to a close and what a remarkable conclusion to the contest!! An astounding 36+ million Z-Tokens were gifted by players during this event!     		 I understand that catering to everyone's preferences in our diverse player community can be a challenging task, given the wide array of character builds and playstyles. We always strive to do our best to create an experience that offers something for everyone.

    Due to recent staffing shortages and a substantial workload, I made the decision to begin work on the Wingweaver gear ahead of schedule. After having the suggestion thread open for over two months, Dreiko's suggestion emerged as the most optimal choice. However, it is completely fair to assume that we would select the suggestion that garnered the most support by the end of the contest.

    I sincerely apologize for not communicating this decision more clearly in advance. It is great to witness the incredible effort from our community in coming together to make a well-defined selection for what they envision the Wingweaver set to be.

    I want to emphasize that I'm in no way diminishing Dreiko's exceptional work on their suggestions. The Wingweaver prizes have already been delivered, and we remain dedicated to developing a second alternate version of the Wingweaver set inspired by Gwen's suggestion.

    		 Appreciation to all for your patience! Ianthe has completed the crafting of the Wingweaver 2.0 set, now rebranded as Wishweaver. So Giftmasters, make your way to Ballyhoo's shops to acquire your new Wishweaver gear! If you were eligible for any of the Wingweaver prizes during the 2023 Summer Season of Gifting, you can now obtain the Wishweaver version in the same shops at no cost. Animal King has been diligently working on the first weapon for the #1 Giftmaster, Gwen. We aim to release the first custom weapon prize before December!
