Word: Graphics Tablet
Meaning: A graphics tablet is something you can buy, which allows you to draw on a pad, and when any art program like MS Paint, GIMP, or Photoshop is opened it will show what you drew on your computer.

Word: Micro Soft Paint
Meaning: Abbreviated as MS Paint, Paint is an art program that comes with most computers. It isn't as good as GIMP or PS, it has basic tools but no filters or layers. Not very good for making signatures.

smudge info is wrong:
1)gimp has that too
2)It's not good for bluring.....blur is good for bluring
3)It helps at 3D effects
4)It makes the pic look hand-painted

Word: Positive Space
Meaning: Space in art where there is something there, usually a focal or effects

Word: Negative Space
Meaning: Space in art where there is nothing there, usually in the background or in darkened areas

Word: 3D Studio Max
Meaning: As the name suggests, it's another piece of 3D modelling software. Generaly, it rivals Cinema 4D as the best 3D modeller

Word: Quality
Meaning: The quality of an image. Saving as JPG lets you tone the quality. PNG is described as the best quality file type.

Word: Deviant Art
Meaning: A site where artists can upload and host their art like Photobucket or Tinypic. It also has an active community and is like on big gallery. You can also use Deviant Art (dA) for stocks, renders, brushes, fonts and other artistic resources.

Word: Jitter
Meaning: When using a brush on either GIMP or PS you have the option to apply jitter to your strokes, which basically jitters them so the strokes spread out more.

I don't know weather you'd allow Adding other Sites that Teach Sig Tutorials....

buuuut:

Sigtutorials.com is a GREAT site. I suggest it to everyone, even if you think you've mastered PS, you'll be surprised how much More there is.

and

Brushking: My Favorite Place to Download Brushes, they Also post New (Pro) tutorials once Every Week. The tutorials are great, There's one where you fake a slow-mo bullet destroying a Remote, there's another that shows you how to make those Floating islands like in Avatar, and then my favourite; The tut that teaches you how to Make an animation Destroying the World...... >:3

A small niggle I have with something that's been omitted.

You have kilobyte, megabyte and terabyte, but no gigabyte.

Just thought I'd point that out.

Just a quick question
I use Photoshop
I use a 400x100 canvas, but it always says its over 50KB when i try to use it
How can i make it under?
