hehe it's really 8 hours and 59 minutes, but 9 hours sounds more ominous, >.< I tried the one render thing to cover the whole sig, but the problem is when i resize the render, the picture always come out reallly crappy (without the chain link) but when i put on the chain link, the picture i want comes out nice, BUT the size i wanted is disregarded so i can't really put one render, unless of course it's ok to put the render with the chain link without some of the visible details on it, cuz it'll be cut for sure, I try to make sigs only about 100X300 i don't like 100X 500 i think their too big.

then choose a different render :P

and thanks Neil, your the original helper :) I thought I'd make some new tuts with different stuff

Ippo: Its awesome, the venom side is great, but the spiderman seem a little bit too blurred, and text could use improvement, but overall good stuff

well i tired what you said, and this isn't a sig, it's just an example. Sorry if it's kinda crappy, i'm still playing around with the colors and effects. Hey vader is there by any chance you know nickytan? oh and what happened to the original colors for this? cuz when i saved it, it just turned out plain crappy. And I noticed that you said that you save it as a .png, but what's with the kb limit?

I know Nickytan, but not very well, I do know that Nicky is a girl though :P
And the Auron thing, good job on the bg, but the hand is blended too much, to make it a sig, just crop it, you could also downsize the render.
btw kb limit is 50 for sigs

thanks wu, I love it :D
my third gift, thanks everybody :)

spornax: try making sigs that follow the size rules, 100x400 is a good size usually
and your text looks very pixelated, try selecting the thing that says Antialising in the text tool options menu, it should look smoother
as for the text brush, I'm not entirely sure, I don't know why you would need one when you could just use regular text, its easier. but anyway, I'd just type out the text (remember antialising) and save as a .gbr make sure to resize the document and what not

to blend text
write out ur text in white
select at the layer tab by doing alpha to selection
go to ur sig
press cntrl i
go to shadow/drop shadow
change x and y to 2
change blur to 5
uncheck allow resizing
change the colore to black
hit ok
do another drop shadow
this time change x and y to 1
blur to 1
color white
hit ok
make a new layer with transperancy below the text layer
to do that, go to the layers tab and use the arrow buttons to move the layer
selct the text
go to ur sig
go to select/grow and grow by one pixel
now go to the tab menu
click on the new layer
go back to ur sig and fill it with black
now you merge all the text layers
now another drop shadow
x and y are 2
blur 5
color black
hit ok
merge that with the newlayer
now go back to ur sig
go to script-fu/decor/add bevel
dont thouch the settings and hit ok
now in the new sig it makes, select the text by going to the tab menu
go back to the sig
go to layers/crop layer
now go back to the layer tab and set the mode to vaule
there u go =)
