ok first get sprites at one the following site: http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites.html

now after u get the sprites copy and paste it on to your desktop,

make a new paint doc.

open both documents in paint and copy watever pokemon u like into the empty paint document,

make sure all the parts are facing the same way like this notice they are both looking to the left,

next use the zoom tool and zoom in on the sprites, use the eraser tool and select the smallest one, erase all the parts u dont need (zoomed)

now move the pieces onto your main pokemon using this tool and to make the white around the parts transparent select this

now its time to recolor it so that the new parts match with the others, zoom in and use the eyedropper tool to get the skin color and the filling tool or pencil to recolor it, make sur the darker parts stay as the darker parts wen u recolor it, so if part of the piece was darker then the other after u recolor that part should still be darker but in a different color

after u recolor it it should look something like this

after that zoom out and look at the end result heres mine

heres another

and another

and another

and another

and another

please post comments and your results!!

ok, well, its sorta hard for me to say XD but let me try ummm

Well you see that you need space to make the final pokemon? how do you get the other sprites onto the final type?

How do you put a sprite on in a good way? * trainer sprites can be used 2 right?*

What in the world don't you understand?

You take 2 sprites

you erase all but the wings on the sprite

you use the transparent marquee tool

you select the wings

you drag and drop onto the other sprite

you touch up the look of it

you recolor it

why would you need two open programs? just open a big document, leave one half for the sprites and the other half for the final product.

2 cause 1 is all the sprites the other iz for only that sprite and wen u upload it and get the link to it u hav only that little sprite u made instead of that little sprite and all the other regular ones

and not all ways the wings could be hands and other to, thats just a possibility

Sure why not.

Ok, we're going to open up ONE paint document
you're going to find 2-3 sprites you want to combine
Now you're going to think which part of each sprite you want to keep
Let's cut everything but the tail off of one pokemon
let's cut everything but the wings off of another pokemon
do this all while zoomed in as far as you can go
now let's take them and move them on to the third pokemon. You can open a new document if you want, but it's not needed.
Move them slowly, zoom in if needed, and put them on the pokemon. Touch it up a bit so it looks natural
use the color picker and recolor the added parts
zoom out and look at it
make final adjustments if needed, and voila, you have a hybrid.

the only problem i am having is finding out a way to neatly and organized, work on all of them at once, what i mean is, i want more than one pokemon out so i can work on splicing on onto the other, but i can only upload one at a time.

what's with the uploading part? Open a huge document on paint so you have alot of room.
