 Ok I need some help now. I make the BG mkay, then I place the render on by going to File>Open As Layer>then choosing the pic. I scale the size down and then I look up and the BGs color is back to black

Not bad, for fonts, i'd recommend Rufa Halo, and Abaddon (sp?) (that's what i got so far... gotta get more).

 Guys I need some help.I try to get fonts over to GIMP but when I try to put them in the fonts section under My Computer It says: The ABADDON.TTF file is currently being used and coannot be replaced Wait until windows is finished using the file, and then try again
(Abaddon is what I am trying to get) Also, I tried to get Indoctrine

Edit:Metal if you are looking please move thise thread toQ/A for the Gallery
