There's still like no non-varium players so the one on one'er's with varium have to fight each other and no body gets an advantage. (unless one of them is a TLM)

How about this for the next update lower the stat progression of dex to match tech so we could put less points in dex to get better protecttion from artillery strike and bunker buster?

I'm fine with that because I save points seeing as it takes less points to get +9 Res over +9 Def.

@Clutch: I was only referring to their credit cost. If you notice, there's no increase in credit cost between level 31, 32 or 33 weapons. It's all 12000 Credits for the Varium weapons and 14000 for the non-Varium. I don't have a say over the Varium cost of items and I don't believe there are any plans to change the Varium cost of things yet. Right now a pricing standard is going to just focus on the credit cost of items.

Stat progression for strength and support is basically the same so why can't dex and tech be the same. Dex is not fine as it is because to have good defense you have to have at least 96 where as for good resistance you only have to have 84 tech and what improves with dex, overload, so we could get better defense at lower levels and better striking power with overload.

The down side is it will improve the hunters class multi but that could be solved like this: change "Dexterity (+1 damage per 5 Dexterity)" to (+1 damage at 28 Dexterity; +1 damage per 5 Dexterity after)

Let us take a look at what else improves with Dex, yes that is correct Technician.

Oh yeah one more thing that improves with Dex can everyone say, super charge.

So with the next update this simple change by making stat progression of DEX be the same as tech would improve multiple things for the Blood Mage.

To affect support they could put total support points 77 and above at 18-22.

I just love when players say something is ok as it is when they fail to realize how much a stat affects so many things.

Your "failing" to understand this is gonna buff every other class as well. I'm thinking of the bigger picture as your just thinking of Blood Mage. I rather have a little less defense now then in the future have a little more and have to deal with a Tlm tank with more Defense as well too. Another thing, your theory that it will help us in Technician, Overload, and Super Charge is false. If we get more Def for less Dex that's gonna make us feel as if we need less dex which in turn will lower our damage output. So yes it is OK as is.


Btw I love ignorant players that have no clue.

I find that Artillery Strike is a little OP, as it improves with support. Some Mercs can wait one turn, then use Artillery Strike, then use Aux for a huge damage. But, Multi Shot improves with Dex, which is also nice, but if you Dex abuse, if you don’t kill with multi, your other attacks do little damage. I think all multis should increase with Support…

That is why Strength and Support are the power house Attributes. Strength has the Primary, Sidearm, and many skills. Support has Aux, Field medic, and many skills depending on your class. Technology has Resistance, Robot(If you have one), and some skills. Dexterity has Defense, and.....that's about it other then Multi shot.

Anyway, I want to say that I just realized this. 1 varium ~ 2 credits now. 12000 credits + 995 varium = 14000 credits (stats let’s forget for now…). 995 varium = 2000 credits. On average, 1 varium = 2 credits. And you get less varium than you pay for in Artix Points unless you get the biggest upgrade. So Varium is really really overpriced…and undervalued. Overpriced and undervalued make a dangerous combination…

Some Varium weapons show their values in long term. My Frost Bane, Azrael Bane, many armors , etc etc. Will/has shown its value over time because items such as Frost Bane is almost a year old since its last buff and I still use it to this day.




Forgot to add something, Plasma ACP is my oldest Varium weapon which is about a year old and I still prefer it to this day over any other sidearm for my Support and Technology builds.

Joe - u are way off:
The varium gives a huge boost for power and stats!
The 2000 creds is just a discount for buying with real money...
