Remnant: Rising Star. Chapter 2.
Outsiders can make miracles. Remnant is one miracle. He was an unknown hero, joining forces with Kahli May. Heading to war, he makes his approach.
Saturday, August 27th, 2011.
Remnant, clutching the Ingiru Fire, stands behind the army of good. No one knows he is there, and no one cared. They all watch Chaos stand on the other side of Liberty City, Clown the Jester in front.
Drakoniss: "About time you stood out from the circus tent, Clown."
Clown: "MWAHAHAHAHAHA! No problem, Drakoniss! I'm pleased to present to you the Chaos Carnival Circus, AS THEY PLAN TO PERFORM! Mehehehe!
Drakoniss: "Already one person has shamed me, but I do not let him go."
Clown: "I remember him! The Batman wannabe! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! He really drove me 'batty' in the last war!"
Drakoniss: "Less talk, more fight! Bring it!"
Remnant stays behind as he watches the good guys risk their lives to fight Chaos.
Remnant: "Drakoniss, I'm not leaving you out there to get killed!"
Remnant chants the same chant he had heard in the Inguri Temple during his first visit.
Remnant: "Thara nevier. Chaos sari palan hemo. Beini sar nevo cara!"
Remnant glows a flame red and sparks with red and aqua lightning.
Remnant: "Hasta la vista, Clown!"
Remnant speeds through his army and then runs at the same speed as Drakoniss. Drakoniss looks at Remnant and his face changed from angry to shocked.
Drakoniss: "Remnant! What are you doing here?"
Remnant: "I'm not letting you die out here, Drakoniss! I want revenge!"
Drakoniss: "Just please, do not die out here!"
Remnant speeds ahead and starts felling clowns of the Chaos Carnival. A sudden silence, Remnant looks around to see knights turn to his friends, dying from attacks by the Chaos Carnival. He sees one of Tally, being pinned down.
"TALLY!"
Remnant yells out and Tally looks.
"REMNANT!"
She yells out for help. Remnant arrives and knocks out the chaos clown. Remnant hugs Tally and holds her in his arms. Remnant looks and sees Clown looking at them.
Clown: "Isn't this a romantic re-union? LUCKILY I GET TO END IT DRAMATICALLY!!! YAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Remnant: "Too bad your clowns can't perform well! They SUCK at BLOWING bubbles!
Clown: Bubbles? MWAHAHAHAHA! They are chaos bubbles, used to trap anyone and turn them to our side!
Remnant looks around and sees his brother fighting Drakoniss.
"NOOOOOO!!!!"
Remnant flies off to give Tally to Seimei to take care of, and then flies back to save both Drakoniss and his brother.
"JASON!! SNAP OUT OF IT!!"
Remnant knocks out Jason and releases the Chaos from within him. Remnant hugs Jason and heals him.
Jason: "You should have let me die, brother. I can't handle more pain and suffering."
Remnant: "Let me tell you something I told Kahli May."
Remnant remembers what he had told Kahli May.
"Ever heard of persistence? Kahli May, you have that persistence. You need to retain it and remind yourself how you became the keeper of runes. Never quit, as no one accepts a quitter."
Remnant: "Ever heard of persistence? Jason, you have that persistence. You need to retain it and remind yourself how you became my brother. Never quit, as no one accepts a quitter!"

This is a tribute to my brother, Jason Marshall, who passed away on the 27th of October, 2005. R.I.P, bro.
