Honestly the most suggestions I have seen that were implemented were mostly either cosmetic suggestions (items and such) and a handful of balance changes. The last update addressed a lot of issues that were fairly popular forum topics in the balance sections of the forums. However, I have rarely seen anything aside from these implemented, faction changes most notably. This is not directed at any particular individual, but being good at winning fights translates to being good at winning fights. It's up to people's interpretation if that extends to mean other things as well such as making good suggestions. But from what I have seen people who represent strong rationale will get more support by other forum members, regardless of how good they are in-game. And last I checked stuff like balance updates don't really "balance" the game. They're just directed at whatever concept has the most activity on the forums. So if you make a suggestions, good or not, that gets other people to agree with you, you will have a higher chance of getting that suggestion implemented. And if you suggested it you probably wanted it implemented. Typically the people that look at others' accounts are the ones who, rather than displaying how their own idea is better, uses their in-game superiority as a bragging right and a debating point to lower the credibility and merit of another user thus making the competing idea less credible. Basically, rather than showing why one's idea is better, that person is simply using a somewhat unrelated point in order to make the opposing idea seem inferior. This isn't even playing devil's advocate because the tangent semi-unrelated point doesn't actually translate that well to the forums. It's basically a poorly made way of persuasion that will never work on pretty much anybody on the forums.
