I would assume "MP value for spell cast" means 125% melee unless enemies are on a different standard or something in that regard. On the note about the Key misc, I agree that if the cost is balanced then having a limit on it is arbitrary or the limit should itself be part of the cost being paid (since it's objectively weaker to have a capped effect compared to an uncapped one). I also believe the mana regeneration part is still in its weird limbo of not stacking with other sources of mana regeneration, I haven't checked whether the fragile can be stacked but if the mana regen part is fixed I'd at least have enough motivation to buy the misc and test.
