Hey,

Goca Hosting has been replaced with Goca-X. This is the new portal for the goca hosting.

ALL of the old althorne-online.com/goca files are still accessible, but the gallery is gone. All the files have been moved over.

The accounts have not been moved over, but all the pictures have.

The portal system may still be a bit buggy, but it has the same functionality of the other one, just with more cool stuff :)

The uploader offers hi-res uploads with a max of 20mb. Big enough for any uncompressed tags, spritesheets or tutorials!

This is the preferred uploader of Dabbleh, Bone_Funny, darksideofthefarm and Zenron the Great!

This one is exactly the same only it has more features?

I would like it, but Althorne, can you make the urls like in photobucket? Then I'd begin to use it. The urls means alot to me, so if you could change that url into (for example) http://althorne-online.com/gocax/CoolDragonz/Iamafunnybunny.jpg . That would be cool. :D

i'm sorry, that isn't possible. I will look into it though, but I can't promise anything.

The directory structure of the gallery is like so (to get to the images)

root>data>media>categorynumber(1-10)>image.jpg

That's why. When we were using coppermine, it could have been possible, but 4images has proved to be the best solution.

Oh well, it's welcome for everyone.

And remember, you can upload without making an account. Full rights to the max filesize etc.

Its really nice, fits the color scheme of the site (what color there is >.>)

Music uploads? Eh...I'd watch out there buddy. That, or disable any sort of download...cause you can run into a little trouble there.

I was under the impression as long as you police you site you wouldn't be directly held responsible?
And with the new Mod feature promised for GoCA-X its easier to police.

Thats How youtube and the rest have stayed online even though theirs tonnes off illegal videos on there.
