well i know ive made this idea a while ago but no i found the right section to make this suggestion :)
but anyways i believe there should be a =AQW= Suggestion thread or even one that ENTIRELY has its own section broken down to
area suggestion, game play suggestions, rules suggestion, and loads others. instead of tossing every suggestion out the window that hasn't taking long hours to implement into a picture that has about a .01% chance to make it in game. They always tell us in the designotes to make our suggestions here. and that was the one of the reasons i came here to begin with. but all my suggestions are tossed out with a polite NO SUGGESTIONS!

 There's already the Quest Area Suggestions Thread.

Plus, AE don't want/need Suggestions; otherwise there would be Threads!

The whole point of Suggestions are to use them if there are no other ideas.

Also, think of the amount of Spam...

So I am highly against your Suggestion.

The reason we say 'No [general] suggestions' is because they honestly aren't being looked for by the Game Staff at the moment; there's no point filling up already busy forums, and spending your time, on suggestions that Game Staff aren't even going to see, let alone implement.

When, however, suggestions are wanted, such as Artwork and Quest Areas currently are, then there will be a place specially made for them, such as the AQW Art Suggestions board, and the Quest Area suggestions thread, and the people who implement things into the games DO see these things. Specific suggestions are also sometimes asked for in Design Notes - as and when that happens, special threads are made in AQW General Discussion.

As and when general suggestions for the game are being taken, a AQW Suggestions board will be opened. Until then however, its best not to spend time on something that ultimately will prove fruitless.

And to add, if you really do want to suggest stuff, you would be better off to post in the Gameplay Feedback Thread. A lot of people use that as a substitute. Though do NOT expect a suggestion in it to be implemented. At all.

well i was only hoing for a section that Ae would casually browse though when ever they felt like it. i mean, if there was one, TONS of ppl would have some GREAT suggestions. and other games have suggestion threads, why not aqw? and from what i hear they plan out what they are going to release every monday. i know its going to sparks SOME mods idea to take at least a glance at the suggestion thread and say "hey thats a EXTREMELy goo idea". and he/she will bring it to the table.

even if AE isnt looking for suggestions, they will still visit it being the fact that its in the forums. and if someone makes a off the wall GOOD sugestion that isnt too hard to implement, then SOMEONE will bring it to the table.

i refuse to believe that MOD wont visit the forum. they wil being that they have to keep it clean anyway. but even if 99% of them are ignored, i still think there should at least be one there. i myself am no online game expert but i have thought of WAY cheaperways to please aqw players that the gift box opening a while ago. and one that would boost the game TREMENDOUSLY in one day.

btw i was hoping that SOMEONE would see this from my point of view. O.O"

Well Wxo, just so you know I believe MQ Suggestions has never even been used by the staff. DF used to but barely anymore. The latest thing they took was the Birthday Quest and even that just merely gave them the idea and concept of an actual birthday quest. AQ isn't that good either. I don't play it anymore but I did hear that some contest winners still haven't gotten their entries put in-game. And the contest was won years ago.
Also if people REALLY want their suggestions in-game they can just use the Quest Area Suggestions Thread. Why? Well I made an entry their for a Chaos Lord by the name "Brutal Miss Buffet" and it mainly focused on spiders and parodies. I told Artix about it on Twitter and he got a chuckle out of it and asked for the forum post for it.

 Like Sir Gnome already stated,

What is the point in having Suggestion Boards/Threads that Members spend hours, days maybe even weeks on, yet AE don't need Suggestions, so they don't read them - All that work would just go to waste.

It could leave some Members upset, and others may start flamming.

AE should allow pl4yers trade item or sell/buy item from other players so tat they can make their own price and they can choose wheter they wanna buy it from the offical weapon seller or other player..... plz consider it

please take the time to read the entire post..

from what the broken bard as said..

why does EVERY game has a suggestion thread but aqw. and they are all there being ignored. if my idea is so dumb then why do the other games have useless sugestion threads?? why cant aqw have a useless thread i can almost garantee you that the aqw suggestion thread would be one of the most popular sections. being that im sure most of AEs gamers play aqw. and im sure its the most popular game.

secondly, i and many other members are upset that our suggestion that we spent hours thinking up and perfecting, was deleted without a second thought. and with no where to post them. putting in that section would clean the boards of any suggestion that always get posted EVERYWHERE (including here) and even if ignored (like 99% of the art suggestiong they DO allow but spent hours on) typeing a couple friendly but very helpful sentences would make me feel like i contributed to the game. as of now im happy that people are hearing my voice although they are rejecting it. and a mod has seen my opion and ave some thought to it. thats good enough for me. but if a forum admin sees this and overturns the no aqw rule then i would be HIGHLY excited. then i KNOW i made a contribution. but i dont think the only to make a contribution to this game should be to spend hours learning how to edit pitures nad spend hours more editing them just to have almost no chance at it making it ingame.

as for the flamming, there is flamming in EVERY section or EVERY forum no matter what. that means there should be no forums?? no. it means the the good should out weigh the bad. and the good will DEFINIENTLY outwiegh the bad. it will

1)actually give people that dont know how to edit but have GREAT idea to contribute to the game
2) clean up all the other forums of the aqw suggestions
3) Be considered by AE (becuase they WILL visit even if they are not looking for suggestions)
4) give forum members another activity to do while on the forums instead of posting in the same section every time
5) make all members happy that their voice was heard

the onl thing about the suggestion section for aqw is that it will get over populated and the VERY goodand easy to implement suggestions will be hard to find in the long pages.

some VERY good suggestion ive heard

  • custimizing the color of you character swing attack
  • mod like powers in you house
  • release of a alpha/beta only server


these are just some i found to be outstandingly good. and evne if they never make it , it would satisfy them that their voice was heard instead of "AE isnt taking aqw suggestions. do not post anymore."

im trying my best to help you see it from my point of view and if you do you most likely will hagve a change of heart. :)

 I am listening to you. Time for you to listen to me.

AE don't need/want Suggestions for AQWorlds.

AQW is new(-ish), and AE have Storylines fixed for a long time.

If you're wondering how I know this, it's because there are no Suggestion Threads.

AE won't make Suggestions Threads for the sake of it. They'll make Suggestion Threads when they NEED Suggestions.

Plus, it doesn't matter if a Thread is popular or not...

when AE is being critisized by its players then they oviously DO need suggestions. to plese the players that pay for the game. i dont think you youself can speak for AE as you know know if they want OR need.

no , i clearly speak for all the people that want to make suggestions and those that think there should a a aqw suggestion section.
you are defending AE as if you speak for them by telling me (the people who want this) want you (supposingly AE) do and do not need.

(im sorry if i misrepresented anyone and if i spoke up for you when you feel otherwise then im sorry to you as well)

Yes, AE try and make everyone happy. But stuff like this no.

I will once more repeat;

When AE want/need Suggestions, there will be Threads/Boards.

There's nothing you, or any other Non-Staff Member can do about it.

well, im not discouraged. for you cannot speak for them. being that this is a suggestion thread, im hoping for a mod to come to reply this suggestion. (that might not even be listend to)
zyrian, if i may ask, do you think its best that all suggestion threads be removed??

 When the AQW team is ready to take more kinds of suggestions from players, there will be threads for the suggestions they want/a board for posting suggestions in. However, this is something that would only happen as a result of an in-house decision and not something that would happen because a player suggests it. We are aware that there are suggestions players want to make that are currently not allowed, but for now we ask that you be patient and hold onto those suggestions until the staff are ready to start accepting them.

Why people keep saying AE don't need suggestion? (If u say" AQW didn't need suggestion", I agree)
I met some, can't say a lot, but I could tell u about 10 suggestion taken by staff, There are more, but I can't remember all. At least that's not in AQW board.

Fine, I know AE didn't ready to take suggestion, but I post to point that AE do take suggestion.
See the point why AQW can't have suggestion now: AQW still have a lot of bad thing, and it still haven't reach Version 1.0. After that, I believe AQW will have suggestion board.

 i think that we should make a tutorial in the game or some kind of way where people who start off the game in the beginning know where to go and how to really get into the story.

@ pheonixfire not to be rude or sarcastic but you dont ask that, you TELL us something like this
"AQW* isnt taking suggestiongs at this time. Do not post anymore"
(see the diference) and a suggestion could influence a "inhouse" decision
even npw with a legit to post suggestion I GET THE SAME RESPONSE o well /sigh

@ blue kats i added AQW* for ya. and btw, AQW reaches 1.0 tomarrow (correct me if i wrong)

so far im the ONLY person i know that has spoken up on this issue (correct me if im wrong) and i dont have anything else to say being that 2 mods think its best that AQW be the only game without suggestions. although every other game has a useless suggestion forum, aqw is the only that doesnt deserve one because AE "isnt ready"
but as of now im dropping this topic. suggestion denied
