 I'm pretty sure this is in the plans of the staff. It's not a matter of not wanting to do it, it's a matter of not having coders to do it currently (a least, so I believe, as other, very interesting ideas, got this answer). Once they get time, they will implement it (and probably a button for WF and ED too).

That would be convenient.
That would get rid of the List of Usernames Thread.
I like this idea.

Yes, it would be quite a good idea. There is only 1 let down - laggy lag! With a bunch of links everywere then it would cause lag, but how do you think your character pages would get there? It would have to be um... i'll go check the member count....

Ah-ha! Found it is: 143357 members

Not all are active, you can't even edit your own text thingy, only People with AKness or higher can! I belive there is a reason for this. Sadly it would be quiote hard to get everyone character pages under thier avatar. Plus it would stretch people thing that is seen when posting longer, causing to much room take up, and lotsa lag on the forums. It is a good idea, but a practiacally impossible one too.

 I'm not entirely sure how all the links would effect the forum speed but it does seem logical that more things would eventually slow it down. I think by creating a Master Account Link that allows people to view your characters would be pretty nifty, that way we still have the quick access but it would come at an extra click. Certain options like hiding characters for those who want privacy or for those who have test characters would likely be desirable.
