I'm sorry, but as stated above, this forum is only for Forum Suggestions, so this thread is now locked.
While I understand you're feeling upset regarding the paid content versus free content ratio, this is something that must exist in the game, not only to incentive upgrades, but to give satisfaction to those who paid. Actually, DF has the best "Free versus paid" ratio in my opinion, and while it gives certain features to paid members, it also gives free-players a lot of freedom that they don't find in other games in the web.
If you can't buy a Dragon Amulet or DCs yourself, you can try using the AExtras service, though due to the small amount of point per offer, you might need to do it for some time. Basically, you do surveys for ACs or points, and it doesn't take much time to be completed. I recommend reading the instructions found in the site before accepting an offer, like not using your real email, but a "spam" one. If you want to aim for something bigger, you can try doing surveys for Battleon Points, which can be spent on ACs or even a DA upgrade! Before accessing the AExtras service, I recommend taking a look at the AExtras forum, which contains important and useful information about this service.
For the DF AExtras, please click on this link (this version gives DCs to your DF characters). For the Battleon Portal version (which can be used on in-game currency and upgrades on all AE games), please use this link (please keep in mind you'll need a Master Account in order to log in, but it can be easily created here).
