this has to be some kind of bug

I really hate using IE , I feel so, ..... exposed.....

I don't think the forum is the problem since my FF works fine.

I suggest clearing your cache and allow pop-ups for this site. :)
The login screen appears in a pop-up in FF so that might be the problem.

If that doesn't work, try reinstalling Firefox to the latest version.
