This is not a request to become an AK. While I want to be an AK, I will not beg for it. But I have a question about becoming one. In L&L, you contribute to the commuity to become an AK. In the DF forums, you answer questions and contribute to the community. How do you become an AK for the bugs sections? Post lots of bug reports? I'm curious.

AK's are chosen by the moderators of a specific board based on who they think is best for the job. I suppose it comes down to what the head moderator of the specific bugs forum looks for in an AK.

Outsmarting Bugs

You're unlikely to become an AK in the Bugs section by posting a lot of bug reports, since filling out a template doesn't tell us much about your attitude or how you interact with other forumites even if you do a really good job filling it out. Many bugs AKs start off as an AK for something else and then join the bugs team for whatever reason. Otherwise Khimera is correct, it just depends on what the Head Moderator of the board looks for in a potential AK.
