I myself don't really like new way of forums.
for example you can't look for faction. yes I know you guys call clans. but we are not call clans. I also feel annoy when you get mod edit your post with out you being warmed Or make big deal about size of writing. I find mods make double posting for example AVA. when they tell you not to. I just want to have no longer a mod to be able to get on your post to be edit. when you tell dates of post that to me. plz tell me if you agree or disagree. plz stick to topic and no flamming.

Hello,
As for the faction part of you post, Factions have been integrated into the Clans, Houses, and Guilds forum - with their own section located here.

As for the rest, mods should have that priviledge, as they have spent a long time on the forums, know the rules, and have been specifically elected for the position. If you do something wrong in your post, would you rather have the post deleted (Remember, it can be an extremely long one), or save you the work with editing it. If you have a complaint of the staff member, you can try addressing it with them directly.
Moderaters can double post because sometimes it is needed. Although I do not know why, you can ask the user by contacting them, via PM/Email.

Outsmarting Bugs

I don't quite understand what prevents you from looking for a faction. There are faction recruitment threads in the Clan, House and Faction Recruitment board and an index of the ED factions with forum threads here.

Being able to edit a user's post is crucial for moderators and archknights to do their jobs properly, so this won't be going away. Without the ability to edit posts we would have to delete any post for even a minor infraction that could otherwise be fixed with an edit (such as using spammy font sizes) which would probably upset users a lot more than simply having their post edited.

Chaos!

I would like to clear out the double post issue: Certain threads like Guides and Rules don't have to follow the double post rule, simply because there is a limit on the number of characters you can use in one post, so double posting is necessary in certain cases. Odds are that you saw AVA multi-posting in a Index thread, which requires more characters than allowed per post or to make it easier to navigate.

The kind of double posting that is not allowed is post once in a discussion and then deciding to post again to add information, which is not necessary as the edit function exists for that (and breaking the character limit in a normal discussion is incredibly hard to be done :P).

Also, I can assure you that when an AK or Moderator edit a post, he or she will either send you a PM or put the information as to why it was edited in the post itself. If you don't get a reason for the edit in your post, feel free to PM the AK in question to clear it out.

Posts are only edited or delete when a rule is broke, and you will always be notice about the post deleted and why it was deleted so you can avoid similar cases in the future. I understand your concerns when posting, but there is no need to fear breaking a rule every time, as most rules are pretty easy to be followed (In fact, there is a summary of the Universal Rules for a simplified version, in case you feel the normal version is too big or hard to get information from).

Also remember that you can always PM the forum staff of the board you're posting if you fear your post is not following a rule, and they will help you the best they can.

im sorry I was mainly talking to people just start here. from epicduel who had account there. most of epicduel players do agree but ask me not to mention there names. but main polnt is here to not have mod edit your post. I like that not to be aloud.

Stand Back

If I'm misinterpreting what you're saying, feel free to PM me to talk about it further.

First, most of the time when an AK or Mod edits your post, it isn't to give you a warning. Warnings are attached officially to accounts and they never go away. An edited post is a nice way to let you know you did something wrong without attaching a penalty to your forum account - those warnings add up and if you don't change your ways, result in a ban. So this is just our way of pointing out the rules without penalties.

Second, I'm not sure how you think that's different from the EDF. I realize that our Clan forum (which includes ED Factions) is different from yours, but we worked really hard to make sure all the content was there. If you have specific ideas on how we could improve it, feel free to PM me or Sysquella and we'd be happy to take a look! As for AKs - sometimes they have a need to double post. If you believe an AK is acting in error, please feel free to PM their head mod, Elnaith or me with any concerns you may have.

The merger is still new and we're working out the kinks. The best way to do that is to hear from you guys about what works and what might need a tweak or two! :)

It takes time getting used to it, but this way is better and more safe to the good of the community.

I saw this coming, when I heard they were merging. Everywhere I saw there were things in the ED forums that wasn't going to work here. Mainly the sizing of text, images, and some to language and spam.

Well it looks like a mess, its hard to use, discussion is limited, complaints are censored, and the ED section is less advanced then the old forum.

But Titan had to do it I guess. Epic duel will never be discussed as easily ever again. Personally I don't feel any safer and the slight flaming, etc on the old forum did not bother me at all.

I doubt its possible, but I really want the old forum back. This just doesn't measure up.
