Freedom Fighter, I'd like to help you out too. I was once part of an old and popular clan a LONG time ago, led by Monsti, with amazing members such as Chaos2106, Toa Orka, Phunkr, and many others. Great people, fun times, and amazing friendships.
A Clan shouldn't be about you and your generals rising to the top ranks of PvP, conquering the world of AQW. A Clan should be about friendship, hanging out, finding people you like, enjoying yourselves. Me and the Clan I was in always met up every Friday Night to participate in Friday Releases, which was very fun. We worked together as friends to obtain what we did, completed the release that night, ready for the next Friday to come.
We was friends just looking to have fun is all, we wasn't all high and mighty about PvPing and 'pwning' other Clans. Everyone in the Clan knew me, and I knew them. No matter who we were behind that computer screen, I knew I could trust my friends, cause a great leader like Monsti held and bonded our friendships together.
I loved that Clan, I miss it, I want to go back to the old days when I played AQW. I loved waking up Saturday Morning, and looking at the Screenies Monsti took of our gatherings the night before. She was a funny and respectable leader, nice and smart, someone to look up to.
And one of the things that held that Clan together was the Stick. The Stick was the main weapon of our clan, and through our use became a powerful weapon to us, cause it bonded us together. A simple 10 Gold Stick, in the Newbie shop, it created friendships beyond imagine. There are people in clan who hasn't even un-equipped the Stick, even after we disbanded months ago. My AQW Character still has his Stick, and is wielding it as of now.
