At the moment, it takes around the same amount of exp to get from level 1 to level 25 as it is to get from level 30-31. To me it seems that the experience scale is far too top heavy and at 12 exp per 1v1 win and 24 exp per 2v2 win, 13,580 exp (equal to 1132 1v1 wins and 566 2v2 wins) for one level seems to me a bit much. When new levels come out, the experience needed in inevitably going to be far too much for the average player to handle, especially for the non-variums, and i believe for this reason, many will quit as they will find it takes far too much effort for a single level. Of course there are those with 50k+ wins who it wont make a difference to, but for the average payer, with around 2-5k wins, it will just be to much.

LOL this was easy compared to the last game i played, runescape has 24 skills 23 of them go to 99 and 24th goes to 120 and from 98-99 in some of those skills take a month if you play all day. I played that game for almost 8 years and only got 3 to 99.

Its a deication issue man but if you have no life you can spend like 16 hours playin ED and getting an EXP booster every hour NPC and 1v1 and then get your lv up in one day

@voidance-But with Runescape, the idea is not to farm to max everything out, it's to let it upgrade as you play and explore the game. Do you seriously think that they expect you to farm for that? No. In EpicDuel on the other hand, much of the new content is higher levels thus requiring you to farm. There lies the difference.

@Voidance, ive played runescape for 8 years aswell, and the thing with rs, is that when you get a higher level you can for example in farming, plant higher things, that yeild higher exp, with expicduel its the same exp rates the whole way through which i find weird, i think fr each 5 levels you go up, you should get atleast a 10 exp in 1v1 and 20exp 2v2 increase, starting with 15 exp each win 1v1, and 25 exp 2v2

this solution could also go with credits, as for most level 28+ armors, weapons, guns and auxiliaries, you need 7k (desert blaster) to 19k (non varium armours)

i'm only saying that the rate at which the required exp is rising is a bit too much for the current levels.

if you need credits, play 1v1.
if you need exp, play 2v2.
i made a nonvar mage and got to lv26 in 5 days, doing only 2v2. around 500 fights with around 70% wins. could probably get to 30 in another week if i really try too.

I think its ideal. it gives people alot of time to see what facing high levels every match is like, especially in 2v2.
the stuff you get away with levelling to 27 usually gets you killed from that point onwards [yes you non healing mercs]

im gonna point something out its not really impossible to get 32 lots of us have done it and its even easier to get levels if your in a really active faction becuase when your just earning the daily wins your cranking out exp and ull Lv up before you know it(i was doing 200 wins a week for like 2 weeks and got to lv 32 even though i was a good way into lv 31 before i descided i wanted to reach the level cap)

It's delayed gratification. I have tons of rares that are outside of my level. So what. DO WORK.

I went from 30 to 31 in a day.... your obviously doing it wrong and it only takes like 500 wins.

Ironically, when you have the most motivation to fight (leveling up), you have the worst win rate (getting beat up by 32s.) Fortunately varium players can equip Frostbane or Azraels Bane and the best armors at only level 30 and compete with the 32s well enough. Nonvarium players can...um...leave.

It took me 2 day to get from 31-32, but what about at higher levels, say 49-50? how long is it going to take to level up then?
Im not saying this because i cannot do it, I already have.

Why wouldnt 49-50 take awhile, it wouldnt make sense for them to make it where you can get it in a day, i'd prefer it take atleast a week.

Did you know that if EXP continues as is, it will require about 100,000 EXP to get from level 41-42? That's 4316 battles for one level against players your own level. Assuming that you win them all. If you use EXP Boost, that's 2158. I guarantee that all non-varium players (Or 99% any ways) will quit by that point, since its even harder for us to win battles than Varium players. Plus, casual players will never make the cap. Those factors together will mean that only point of having Varium is to compete, since there is no one to have an advantage over.

Problem? Oh yeah.

Edit: And 19,315 battles for levels 51-52. Levels 31-32 at the moment take only 566.

And they're capped at a certain number of battles per hour.

How does that help?

Inconceivable!

^ Well the last 2 levels both have required the same amount of experience (13580 XP), so I don't think the experience required will be going up unless XP rewards are changed.

Assuming 50% win rate, it'll take you 1430 battles to gain 1 level. If you farm Lawman and Admin 33 (assuming you get 50 battles in an hour winning ~60% of your player battles), you'll need 1087 battles. So this is hardly an extreme case -- there are plenty of players with much better win percents than that. That's 21 hours without EXP Boost. That's really not that bad.

Let's see what the quest system brings also. Maybe quests will be a great source of XP.

I do think the curve could be made a bit smoother though. There is a huge jump in XP required after level 25. The XP should start climbing earlier at level 20 so the increase isn't as extreme. See it yourself: http://epicduelwiki.com/index.php/Experience

It doesnt matter if it takes 4k wins for 41-42, its not like the next level cap is gonna jump a whole 10 levels. If it even gets that high it will be a whole year from now, they gotta keep rising because of the high demand for items and if they didnt game would get boring.

Again, not considering the casual and non-varium players. And if quests bring in more EXP, EXP requirements are probably gonna jump with them.

Oh, and new calculation: 85,890 battles just to go from levels 47-52.

And just to mention, I hope I'm wrong. But I think I'm right.

Edit: @voidance-But it will reach that someday. Then, newly starting players will never be able to hope of reaching the level cap by farming. They will always be below it... Unless they're Fay Beee or Bluebird01. But not likely.

The point is to keep new players coming and buying varium, not driving them away with insane amounts of EXP.

Also not: I wouldn't mind if it took a huge number of battles to level, as long as it was like, levels 79-80 or something. 32 is way too early.
