The Below is a list of Required things that absolutely must be in your Group Group Name: Seriously, don't bother posting if there isn't one. Focus: What's the group about/for? Why would people want to join? Requirements/Instructions to Join: It is essential to tell people how to join the group, and if your group requires a certain level/behavior/etc. to join or is open to everyone. Group Leader/Hierarchy: It is required to list who the group leader and co-leader are so that way others know who to talk to. It is advised that you keep a chain of command so that way people recognize the ranks of your group. Member list is optional but is shown below. Below is an example Group that you can follow to help you with format. In addition to the required elements listed above it has other useful content that will help make your group look organized The Great Example Group! (Here is this where the banner will go) Image 1: (The above is the Group Banner, where you can put your group's name in fancy graphics to make it look cool in place of just using text) Images 2-4: Focus: We are a group of warmongers out to destroy the enemy at all cost. (REQUIRED FOR GROUP THREADS) (EXAMPLE) Requirements and Instructions to join: Must be level 30 and above in AQW. Please PM me a screenshot of your character along with what part of the group you wish to join, and if it fulfills the requirements, you may post here and join the forums. (REQUIRED FOR GROUP THREADS) (EXAMPLE) Supplementary bits below. Not required, but nice to have. Group ranks: AQW (EXAMPLE) 1-5: Peon 6-10: Warrior 11-15: Lieutenant 16-20: Major 21-29: Captain 30-39: Colonel 40-44: General 45-50: Commander-in-chief Group website: www.webs.com is great to use. Forums: It shows a certain degree of dedication, not just something tossed together in a couple minutes. It's also crucial to having a successful group, considering that there are topic limitations in group threads. See below for forum software. It should be noted that in some case the group website can also do the same job as the group forums depending on the website. A few free ones available are http://www.zetaboards.com, http://www.invisionfree.com/ and http://www.proboards.com . Look around on Google for other forum creators. Group story: Insert a great story here. It looks nice and also helps to boost the integrity of your group, thus attracting more members. Group's Credo/Motto Group Restrictions/Rules: (EXAMPLE) Do not join any other groups. Do not spam. Do not advertise. Do not flame. Goals: (EXAMPLE) All members to reach level 50. To be upstanding members of the forum. Links to Sigs: (Show off up to 5 with image tags. Keep in mind the signature rules.) Allies: Allies are groups you are very friendly with and would most likely participate in a group war/competition with. Group Allies must be accepted by both groups, you cannot just list another group randomly. You must also link to the other group so that way others don't have to search for them. (if applicable) Enemies: Enemies are rivals of your group, either because they have different objectives then your own (Light vs Dark) or because of other reasons. Enemies must be mutually accepted by BOTH groups, so you cannot list another group as your enemy if they do not want to be on your enemy list. (if applicable) Number of Members with a List (forum names at the least) - This is no longer required. It is however beneficial so outsiders wishing to join or members of other groups can see just how many members you have in your group.
