Don't you think BH are a little bit left out.

Maybe its just me.

Post things here why BH are left out a little.

Yes we know BH has shadow arts but that still requires a lot of luck. Meanwhile Mercs and Techmages have sure kill skills and defense.

So in short BH are more based on luck rather than the skills they use and thats a bad thing.

those lvl 32 guns, all with str modifiers make str bh more deadlier

You may not be using the right build at the moment for a BH (Not saying there is any one build for it, there are many variations) but BH is one of the deadliest and most capable of classes.. you just need to find that right build.. or right strategy, but remember.. you cant win them all

Yeah because a ridiculously high chance of not taking in any damage (via block) is not OP ..

BH currently have 2 of the most powerful skills in the game.

Venom Strike (aka poison).
- Does 33 damage which cannot be blocked, deflected, reduced with protections or in any other way avoided. Absolutely guaranteed 33 damage.
- Does not give mages mana via reroute from the damage it does.
- Does not build rage for your enemy via the damage it does.
- Costs less than massacre! (by comparison, if you're dealing 50 damage on an enemy with 30 protection, mass would add +18 damage for more mana, instead of +33)
- Useable on turn 1!

Bloodlust (aka omg stop healing)
- Increases your effective HP without agility penalty
- Always active, applies EVERY turn you deal damage (compare to e.g. deadly aim, once every 3 turns)
- Early in the skill tree, accessible from level 2 (compare reroute)
- Frustrates your enemies to no end. Lovely!

Don't forget also that smokescreen helps you dodge more and shadow arts stacks on top of dodge (block) chance, so you can get up to 55% chance to block if you have enough dex/smoke and lv10 SA. That is absolutely insane, though luckily your enemies have guns and plenty of spells (bunker, artillery, mage spells, stun nade, etc etc) to avoid block chance with ;)

These are the reasons why I have been a BH for about 80% of my wins. Started as one, tried all 3 classes, went back to BH. Founder + good var/ench gear. I will however be going to merc in a couple weeks if the stat reductions aren't changed, as mercs are currently stronger overall, just in terms of stats, not skills, in my opinion.

ok, ok, ok Guys. I get it, its just me my build is old I'm still sticking to the old ways because the only items I have are beta and founders and some oldies.

IIRC, Venom Strike lasts 4 turns and does 44 damage at max, no? Was it nerfed.

BHs have 2 of the most powerful builds in the game. Str Hunters and 5 focus. They aren't left out.

RKC: First off welcome back. You have been gone a while and it seems you don't have the varium to buy your way back to top level equipment. Its not the BH class that's lacking I'm afraid, its your inventory. Take some time and make some purchases to fill in the gaps in your build. Enhance items that you know you will use for a long time. Don't waste varium on old equipment, try to buy new stuff as it comes out.

The beta weps are a disappointment. I don't know why ED hasn't buff them even its an exclusive one time rare and not many people have them.

I was expecting them to be powerful. Yes the staff said that they are the only weapons to have +10 enhancements but I saw another weapon like that "crab claws".

Why is it so hard for ED to make the beta weps stronger at least make the claws 30-31 damage.

Sorry I'm just confused with all the sudden adjustments and overwhelming new varium weps that newer players have.

The majority of my inventory is a year old, yes they're the strongest weapons of those times, but they still don't match the crazy amount of new weapons.

Don't forget Smoke Screen, an ability, usable turn 1, which allows for lower of dex, while many people compare this to malf, they couldn't be more wrong, malf only lowers res (and some abilites that go higher with more tech, like bunker) but smoke screen does all this AND makes your chance of blocking go down, AND gives the bh a greater chance to hit, very powerful with gamma bot with 5-focus build so yeah, can't wait to see noobs spaming it in 1v1 (where bh's are still the top brass

and of course we can't forget EMP grenade, which even at lvl 1 is, unblockable, and once bh is at lvl 30+,, can easily remove all your mp, if not all but enough to be 4 or 5 mp point from using ANY mp based skills
