 I have notice there alot of bullys here on forums and in game. like for example they would make fun of way you talk. But most don't know that on forums you must speak english. most of us don't speak english . should there be forums for you to speak your language . what do you think. Just maybe bullying will stop.

 There are people that think so highly of themselves, and I swear to you, many of them think they are the best in the game. I believe, there is only one very great person who plays the game greatly, and is ALWAYS nice. Fay Beee. She is a great friend of mine, very nice, ALWAYS answers my PMs and I have great convos with her. She is the most humblest person you will meet, and is very caring. I wish I could be a lot more like her.

Bully wise, I wont say much, dont want to get a warning or ban.

 This has been an issue since well,as long as iv'e been here.This is a game made by americans,they speak english obviously.They themselves spell words differently to british english.They make up their own spelling for words and accuse other nations of spelling wrongly when they aren't even spelling correctly,funny ey?

When i first started using the internet i seriously started doubting that my head is still working right,places such as youtube and even this forum would all underline my words with those red lines when i know for a fact it's the british english i was taught when i was in school.Most those players acting rudely toward you are american users,proud and arrogant about a language that they adopted from another nation anyway,it's not even their own.

Don't feel too bad,i'm sure you speak some other complicated language that they wouldn't be able to even figure out without running to google translator.I know i do,in fact i speak quite a few so be proud.Ignore them,it's funny anyway

Don't take any notice of the Bullies I never do.

Bullies are only people who suffer from their own inadequacies so they pick on others to make themselves feel better. Which means they have low self esteem issues.

To the people who speak English as a second language (not your native tongue) I commend you for making contributions in our forum.

A long time ago I used to talk on a CB/Ham operators radio. I very much enjoyed talking to countries all over the world and I was amazed that most people managed to speak the English language. One person had learned to speak English in just a few months listening to his radio. Of course it wasn't perfect but most of the fun was just being able to talk to them and make the connection.

Now we have the internet and it would be so much harder to learn to write the English language especially if it isn't used much in your everyday life.

People need to learn to be more tolerant because the world does not revolve around the English language alone.

obviously, i don't support bullying, but you have to realise that this is an english game, so you should type in english.
They arn't going to make a diffrent forum, but you could make one yourself.

try googeling freeforums

I will be honest Im a latin person but I have learned english, it is not perfect but understandable so I think they not only have to see the English language as the only one that is important.

 I can take bully to certain extend. but most people can't. cause maybe there were getting bullying at school or at home. so when they come here just want to feel welcome. Not feel like there at school or at home. Mods can't always be there to stop bullying. Not say were victims here but I do feel bad for bullys. I wish they work out there problems in real life instead of being over here.

 Angels Holocaust as much you don't believe me. I always hate way you were treated in game. I once said to fay that I think you are like me nice real life. I know have said hurtful stuff to you before and buffy. But I am sorry to you both I wish we can all stop be mean like black trust. If you ever meet her she is just nice as fay. She is good friend moment you meet her you would want her as buddy and other buddys. there great people once you get know them.

People try to do this so called "bullying"to me, but its childish to let such things bother you. So grow up and stop crying, people tend to act tougher online because they dont have to worry about any real repercussion, and nothing you say or do is gonna change it. Also, dont get what i do confused with bullying, I dont bully, its called the negative truth. Meaning I tend to point out the negative sides about the subject at hand.

How was that useful I am not talk about myself. I can handle it I am big boy. its easy to say grow up not if ever were you get bully home and school. way you make sound as if you were be little this. Thats way you deal with it . but not everone does your way. thanks for feed back.

I believe factual debates are fine but when it comes putting someone down and "winning" an argument that way is flaming and as Mir pointed out, bullying. These people are the ones (As Practel says) who think so highly of themselves that they will actually bully a person they don't even know IRL! Seriously, a game will be a game, if all you're going to do is be harsh to other players then just leave and come back if you're mature enough.

You and Buffy are practically terrorized by people who simply don't agree with your factual points. I don't care if people call you "haters" because the truth is the people that disagree have nothing on most of your comments.

@Practel
I think that expressing how you feel about poor conduct is ok with the staff. And if the entire game was like Fay Beee it would be much better.

Oh and people have called me a noob many times, I still can't conjure the reason why some players I respect have called me an "Idiot", "Noob", or other things I shouldn't post.

Don't really see what this has to do with ED but here are my 2 cents:

Just ignore them, it's so easy to do.

Oh and just for the record it's "Bullies", personally I like to call them trolls, so either have fun with them and laugh at everything they say or ignore it, they act tough behind their monitor because in real life they can't really do anything and chances are they are the ones getting bullied...

 Hmm. Pretty much same as deadly poison. I am proud to be canadian, and then google chrome insists on underlining the words that are spelled in british english. So I change them.

All I got to say is, this game isn't american. It is international. So that is the reason many get bullied for notnbing in the US. I am in CA right now, but I am and will always be proud of my canadian origins. I think Google Chrome is the real bully.

In EpicDuel, i think it was yesterday a bunch of level 25's we're making fun of me. I'm level 13, so as you know it's kind of cruel.
They kept calling me weak, and nooby just because i didn't have weapons like they did.
And then all of them reported me to try to get me banned, and for some reason by-standers would just "lol" at me...
I'm just coming to a conclusion that the entire community is the same... :(.

there is alot to do with game. it happens alot they make of fun of way you talk. they call you names if you tired stand up there get more online. many of are players are young like 5 to 12. I know there are adults that play to. They can handle it easyer but not younger ones. This post talk about bullies in game. To make new players feel welcome and forums.

 With the language issue: I admit that I do speak English as my first language, and I speak several other languages poorly. That said, it saddens me when other players insult players who are unable to speak English fluently. However, I'm never sure how to deal with it, because I have to ask myself if I'm treating those who point out flaws in ESL speakers' speech differently vs. EFL speakers' speech (well, text, but you get what I'm saying). Is it ok to tell someone who speaks English as their first language that their English is not very good, but not someone who speaks English as a second language?

Unfortunately, with bullying the victim does need to make sure he or she has a running record for repeated harassment or even some kind of proof for mods to do much about bullying. I sympathize with victims of bullying, though, I get bullied and harassed as well, and there's a certain amount of that I've accepted as part of the job of being a moderator. All I can suggest victims do is to make complete reports to one of the ED in-game mods or to the Lawman, and to ignore bullies or avoid places where bullies tend to congregate. Yes, it would be better to say "potential bullies, stop bullying", and this in no way is blaming the victim- it's risk reduction, not prevention. And hopefully punishing the offenders will lead to less bullying if they know that there are consequences to their actions.

I just read his open argument better and now that i think about it, this isnt bullying. Telling him his English is poor is being honest, therefore it means being truthful not bullying. If someone were to pester him over and over about his grammar, yes i would considered that a attempt to bully. But in this case your labeling a hurtful but true statement by a player as bullying.
