Ok, I'm a noob at creating signatures, I don't even know how to. So can someone please give a step by step guide for me to know how to make one. Please make it noob friendly! Thanks!

It really depends on what kind of signature you want. I'm assuming you want one with a cool image. If you're a total noob (kind of like me) and can't do much with Photoshop/GIMP etc. then there's still a way for you to get a half decent signature.

1. Search Google images for an image that's a lot wider than it is tall or can be cropped so that it is a lot wider than it is tall.
2. Open the image in paint (this guide uses Paint version 6.1)
3. Use the rectangle select tool to select the image you want to use as your signature. Make sure this region is 3-5 times wider than it is tall (unless you don't care about your image being squashed.
4. After selecting your region, hit "crop"
5. Follow one of the following steps
a) If you do care about your image being squashed, hit "resize" and make sure that "Maintain aspect ratio" is checked. Type in the value 100 for vertical, as that is the vertical limit for signatures. Make sure that the horizontal value is under 500, which is the width limit for signatures.
b) If you do not care about your image being squashed/distorted, you can hit "resize" and uncheck "maintain aspect ratio" and manipulate the pixel values as you see fit as long as the vertical value remains below 100 and the horizontal value remains below 500
6. Save your image as a .jpg, .png, .gif, or .bmp, but make sure that it's file size is bellow 50 kb (you can check this by finding the image where you saved it, right clicking and hitting "Properties"). I recommend .jpg as it yields a fairly good quality image without gobbling up memory.
7. Upload your image to an image hosting site such as http://photobucket.com/ (you will need to create an account).
8. Once your image is uploaded, be sure to find the "direct link" url (it should be right next to the image). Copy that into the signature box on your profile and surround it with the tags [image][/image]
9. Hit "apply"
10. Enjoy your new signature!

I made the signature I'm using now with this method.

Any other image hosting sites (since photobucket won't let me sign up)?

Perhaps you could try ImageShack? If you have trouble registering an account on it, there's also an uploader on the front page which lets you upload images without an account.

EDIT: Looks like you found it already :P
