So it seems that alot of Factions now are offering Varium of up to 10k package to get good players to join there Faction..

Just when there could be nothing else to make Factions more meaningless

How is there meant to be good fun competition amongst Factions and amongst players for that matter

If anyone with a big wallet can stroll in, make a faction, offer everyone 10k varium every now and then and get a ton of great players for that reason alone

Its really beggining to dawn on me that ED is going down hill very quickly right now.. some serious changes need to be made

There are so many reasons why the game is losing its fun at the moment.. (Atleast for me) and this Varium for joining a Faction is just the icing on the cake

Whats the point in trying to be competitive with a Faction now when this is happening?

What is going on with this game.. i return from a long break a few weeks ago to find the game i used to love is no where in sight

What do you think about this?

Also.. please dont lock this thread, it is not a thread for flaming ED this needs to be discussed and any flames towards ED should be ignored by you all and they will be ignored by me.. i just want this to be discussed to see others views on it

I agree. Some people I ask to join my faction, and they ask if I will give them varium if they join, and I say no, and they don't join. xD Then of course they join another fac that offers varium and that fac gets the best people, becomes really good, but then diez when founder is broke and poor. Then the varium hunters go to another varium giving faction xD I seen it before :P

sometimes its not even real, they just tell you they gonna give u varium but then they dont sometimes... oh btw bribing someone with var is illegal.

if you give someone a voucher code to buy artix points, im not sure thats illegal. [or banneable]

Im glad its illegal, but it clearly isnt illegal enough because its still happening and its going to continue to happen

The worst part is.. i dont see a way to put a stop to it

EDIT:

But artix points is still the same thing.. it is bribing them with money to be in a faction that they wouldnt have joined otherwise

Plain and simple

And that faction then gets great players and becomes great.. atleast while the varium holds out.. its ridiculous, unfair (In a huge way) and its ruining what it is to be in factions

 What I learn most faction never give varium out. They always say what you want to hear. My word advice never join any faction that you don't like. I personaly like the faction just chill with no donation to any flags.

No No its illegal to bribe people but I dont think its illegal to do contests.

 Giving players Varium to stay in your faction is against the rules as Deimos said. Paying anyone in Varium in exchange for anything (such as their allegiance to your faction) in-game is considered bribing and it's not allowed. So if a player expected to be "paid" for their activity, just tell them that it's against the rules.

Giving someone Varium as a gift is perfectly fine. That's what the electronic gift certificate is for, but there's a big difference between giving a gift and paying someone to be in your faction.

Having said that, please don't accuse any factions of doing this in this thread. If you have proof, you can report them directly to the Lawman. Thanks. ^^

Its alright, i wouldnt openly accuse any factions on a forum post

And i get what your saying @Ashari.. but whats happening is they are getting Varium as a gift... for being in the faction

And they will say its a gift.. because in all honesty even if it is a gift

They are still getting this gift of varium for being in a Faction that they otherwise wouldnt be in if they were not getting the varium

The loop hole is too huge.. and buying peoples loyalty is happening and is going to continue

Making the game worse by far =/

And that is exactley the problem im speaking of.. players WILL accept this "gift" for joining and remaining in a faction

 It's against the rules. However, it's difficult to prove. If you have evidence, give it to the Lawman or one of the mods (such as me).

I do see a faction but im not willing to say *cough* GUAPS *cough* I've played their players and they have openly said that they get varium if they stay active. I even talked to their faction leader about it and he said, "I give between 1k to 10k. but those other inactives get jack (bleep)." Anyway if someone does get evidence please bring it to the table.

err..Jomg. I'm a member of GUAPS. I joined GUAPS because it is an active faction that does not require any kills for the day. Just being active is good enough. Other factions which are active needs kills for the day. And what you are saying about GUAPS, I think you're being mistaken. I've been in that faction and no such activity that you say has occured.

There's no way to stop bribing or anything illegal for that matter. If there was only one, sure, but when hundreds do it he burden becomes too great. It's just like computer pirates. You can't possibly hunt down all the millions and millions that do it.

I heard(from my friend/rumor as well) that the faction Immersion Relics are having raffles everyday. They give like 5k varium or 10k varium to there own members and just leave lol if some members want to. Kind of wasting the money of the leader but I dunno why yet it still continues.

As much as I have great respect for you Silent Scream. Its really up to the one that's offering the varium, its their money not ours.

If I have to make the rules its ok to give varium to other players as long as they don't hack or do something to damage the system, or make the game unfair.

They gave varium using money, that's fair and square

im a member of GUAPS. And ive been here for about a week. And i dont know why people keep accusing us of giving out varium n dummying n stupid things like that. Till now ive never seen anyone in d faction who got varium from d founder or anyone. And think of urself in killas (founder) place , everyone accusing u of things u dont do. I joined d faction cause it was really active n fun. And as war told u dont have to get too many wins also. All u have to do is be active n get wins wen we go for 1v1 champs.
