Why?
This Game Takes Compared To The Other AE Games, A Ton More Per Month.

I think premium items should be worth 1250 varium at max unless its a really good weapon, but double the cost for less than half extra stats is too expensive

Yeah, no thanks. How about promos/very powerful rares stay the same price and other weapons have their price lowered? It already costs $20 to buy a primary weapon and enhance it, and to be frank that's far too much.
People need to eat, you know.

If you add it together, my weapons aren't even up to date anymore and this game costs more than my PS3, and a real game system beats this most of the time.

 Here is the example for those who don't understand the reasoning for this thread.

For $50 package , you get 2 bazookas free +10k varium.
or
You can pay 4,400 varium at the store if you want both.

This does not include enhancement costs, but if an individual who just bought the previous promo item, which are they more inclined to get. It seems getting another $50 dollar package would be more economical.

Do you think having a double prices for promo items reasonable, or should there should be a fair mark-up? What do you feel the fair mark-up is?

This thread is an important discussion on promo rates. Please do focus on the topic and specifically note what is good or bad about double rate for promo items if one does not choose to buy the $50 package.

Regardless how powerful a weapon is, you should not charge over 1.5k for it. The promotion system had gone out of whack by Halloween when the idea of forcing player to buy the largest package to obtain the items freely.

The second highest package, was ignored.(don't bring the gamma bike argument into this. That bike is as worthless as the others.)

To bring back the spirit of "promo items for everyone" I will suggest the following.

First, let's bring in seasonal achievements. If you buy a varium package during a seasonal promotion, an achievement should be awarded to you. Now, if two weapons (i.e. Eggzookas) were released as promo items; the following should happen:

10k: both weapons & achievement
5k: choose ONE weapon & achievement
2.5k: achievement
1.25k: achievement
500V: nothing

nothing should cost more than 995 varium, it already too much, and you need up to +1700 varium for enhancement.

Just like others said, no weapon should cost more then 995 varium.
Sometimes, less( in this case, varium) means more( in this case, money for ED.)
